I'm all for less packaging if people could be trusted not to be mingers!

Until then not buying anything that's not prepacked.

Sadly you are right, if people cant be trusted to be mingers then no way am i trusting enough to be buying unsupervised unpackaged food.

I dropped a line to the FSAI about this incident but doubt there is much they can do.

Canteen side, roll on 4:30, not looking forward to the commute home 😔

I've had a wash of drained feeling and a weird surging feeling in my head for the past few minutes. Be grand, just inconvenient. We're going for another woodland walk but, we have to find somewhere for dinner first. A pot of coffee would not go amiss.

I had one of those days where everyone I dealt with was dead nice to me.
Now I am really suspicious that they are all up to something...

Having a coffee , daughter rang , oldest granddaughter , 4 , wanted to ask me a question . No problem , then I hear " Nanny , why did those bold men put Jesus on a cross and hurt him ? "

Could have done with the coffee before she asked :p

    Happy Wednesday evening all :)

Hmmm .... to Kilkenny by any chance?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,318 ✭✭✭✭Grandeeod

Didn't do much today. Walked down the town with Mrs G. Did some light grocery shopping. Made a lasagna. Having a few beers at home again. Just stepping back from the drama of work. All good. Gonna do some Thursday/Friday work and then enjoy the weekend. D-Day for London offer is approaching and the last few days have helped.

Hi Mam! Gave up on the firelighting (had visions of 999 call!) Will have another go at the weekend. Still chuckling at your little grandchild’s question. Kids are sooh cute. At work today, an 11 year old asked me what age I was. I (fingers crossed behind my back) replied 101. He said “Oh, I thought you were 20!!!” For obvious reasons, I didn’t correct him!

My grandmother used to say "21 and a bit". Christ I'm old enough to use that one myself now :/

Going to bed the fire in for the night and then bed down myself.
