    It's literly 10 minutes on the luas. Get on the luas sts outside and get off at jervis. It's across the road from the shopping centre next to the spar

    I honestly don't see how you could have a contract if your vetting isn't cleared unless someone isn't doing their job properly. Even if someone somehow got their contract before the above steps, I can guarantee that you won't be starting your new job until it's cleared so what happens if it's delayed and you have handed in your notice?

    Wait until everything is back before you do anything is my advice.

    Westmeath is moving again they have started pulling from batch 1.6.
    I called last Friday and they had 4 left to place in 1.5 so that was quick at last!

    I've have been offered & accepted An Garda Siochana. Delighted & nervous! Would anyone who has started in AGS be able to tell me what the work is like, hours and did clearance really take 12 weeks?! Thanks!

    From what I have read on here.. Clearance is longer for AGS

    Ask for clearance and tell them the County.
    They are really helpful.

    I really like it. Only there a few weeks but the other co's are really helpful and nice and the guards are grand too.
    It takes a while to get used to their way of doing things but it does click and the work is grand. Nothing too difficult at all.

    Best advice is to phone the PAS on 01-8587400.
    Ask for clearance and tell them the County.
    They are really helpful.
