Anyone know if the wind speed shown on met.ie is in km?

I typed in my location in North Donegal and it's saying 22 this evening.

Saturday is going to be 24!

Just wondering will it be bad enough for the electricity to cut out?

Doubtful at present. My Sky normally goes first too (no satellite signal being received on screen) and its working flawless all evening here in Tralee.

I heard Radio Kerry say the worst of it will be between 12:00am - 3:00am though.

    Dont make any unnecessary journey!

    Looks serve in West alright.

Meanwhile in Dublin not a whiff of a breeze.

I see Theresa has lost the hat. Going for full hair saturation for dramatic effect, except her hair is barely damp.

Not watching the news but was this the one in Brandon in Kerry with Fenit lifeboat rescue? Cos if it was, he didn’t need rescuing, not excusing the fact the man in question is a moron. He was reported missing but was safe at the time.

There is no storm at all. The news people and RTÉ are deliberately lying to us to boost ratings. Their footage is from foreign places that get storms like New Orleans and Indonesia. Dublin is mild and clear blue skies. I won’t ever fall for this storm warning again. Still tho, glad I was able to use it as an excuse to ‘work’ from home today and tomorrow.

Lost a lot of interest in Athletics over years due to all the drugs, but I am watching some of the World Championships tonight so that I don't have to hear or see George Lee or any of the other hypers on RTE.

Think she chucked a bottle of Evian over her head before giving the report.
