Anyone want to PM me a referral as I'm going to place an order?

What order number did they give you?

What specs did you opt for?

Well wear when your car arrives, if you get a prechristmas delivery date is offered will you take it up?

I think I will but will not know until closer to the time.

What was the point of being a reservation holder for the Model 3?

I speak as a coveted reservation holder.

Great news for SR+ people... premium connectivity confirmed as payable option by the end of the year on all cars, including non premium interior cars.

To help fund Tesla with your deposit money, ditto on the order deposit too it seems.

Now docked after its trip from Philadelphia ... are there any cars for Ireland on board?

I don’t think they ever imagined the number of reservations holders.

Doubt it. But a ship later this month or next month could have Irish cars on board.

If any other car marker told the lies that Tesla told there would be pitchforks outside the head office. People seem to be happy to put up with any level of crap just because it's Tesla.

Before you slate me, I am a Tesla owner.

Other than late delivery, what lies have they told

Ignore my use of plural but being misinformed multiple times about delivery is a pretty big one IMO.

Fairly standard especially for new released models of niche cars by a relatively new startup tbh.

No of them have the aero hub caps. When are they fitted? I am sure the earlier photos from pier 80 they had the hub caps.

They probably put them in the boot for shipping?

They are actually wheel covers. You can buy a hub cap with the Tesla T logo and nut cap set for €50 though.

Don’t get your hopes up on deliveries. The reason Tesla Sandyford is closed on Saturdays until the end of October is staff are being sent to the UK to help with deliveries there.

Saturday opening due to resume November- coincidentally when Irish deliveries due to start in earnest

Imagine they could have satisfied the whole country and only upset a small % of one market.

Our whole country is less important to Tesla than a small % of one much more significant market where there are real threats to profitability soon.

Tesla is only doing what it should do, maximise profits.

Maybe "thinks it needs to do" rather than "should" do.

However, if they communicated this "real reason" to us, it would be much better than the wall of silence.

I can accept a genuine reason, even if I don't agree with it, silence/poor communication is even worse than a "bad" reason.
