    Unless you sincerely believe that regular mass shootings are an acceptable consequence of having guns widely available, the (very obvious) fact that the vast majority of American gun owners don't go on murderous rampages is - or at least should be - irrelevant. It happens way too often.

    Authorities do not believe there is an ongoing threat, El Paso Police Sgt. Enrique Castillo told reporters.
    Three suspects were in custody, El Paso Mayor Dee Margo told CNN's Wolf Blitzer.
    Castillo previously said there was one person in custody.

    I thought all Texans had guns, they claimed it was the only place a Mass Shooting could never happen, because as soon as a gunman fired one shot, he'd have 20 bullets in him. I guess that didn't pan out.

    Just listening to a press conference from the El Paso PD and I don't know why they are holding a press conference now becaus he couldn't confirm numbers on much of anything. Would it not be better to wait to have more concrete info and then brief the press ?
