Absolutely fabulous downpour here in Lucan. It happens so rarely! A big improvement to an otherwise dreadful day of disgustingly sticky humidity. Hope it continues.

Spoke too soon but it's nothing that would fill gutters

Torrential rain now here in North Co. Dublin. Could there be thunder on the way? It's that type of a downpour.

Pretty standard so far, I've seen heavier rains this year.

It started lashing here in Glasnevin a short while ago. There's 2.0mm recorded. It's 17.4C now after being around 20 for most of the afternoon.

    Very little rain in Arklow
    Very light
    Just o.4mm so far
Making a total of 1.2mm for the first 10 days of July
June had 60.8mm,most of which fell nearly a month ago now,so we're running low down here
    Drought conditions and dust

Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain! :D
First rain here since June 24th, very badly needed to get growth going and cars were absolutely mankey too!

Looking at stats for my closest amateur station, the highest temperature all month so far is 16C and only three days all 'summer' have topped 17C. Time for another holiday I think!

Don't know about the city but in my location about 35km west of there we had some light patchy rain earlier in the day but it is completely dry but overcast now.

Drove from the airport to rochestown about 1pm & the rain was crazy, very heavy & lots of surface water.
