How many bash poor people threads does boards need?

Maybe we should ask the mods to merge them all?

Maybe we can have a thread for the deniers too.
They can live in a world of sunshine , lollipops and everything paid for by someone else with unlimited supply of cash.

Again there is no bashing of anyone ,

Antedotal claims from yourself yes .

I referred to your claim of no free housing but 90million of unpaid rents and arrears in social housing would suggest a lot of people have free housing .

You claimed non nationals don't get on to the housing list the vast majority of housing applicants on fingal county councils housing list are non nationals something around 70% if I remember correctly

I didn’t claim that. I quoted the articles. Which states the law of the land.
Non nationals do not go on the housing list.
You should at least read the article before posting.

I’d love to see any kind of back up for your 70% of non nationals on fingals waiting list. Your ‘memory’ isn’t facts by the way. Back the post up.

While I don't have exact figures, only anecdotal evidence, Jobstown seems to have a large African community, and I'm fairly confident that most of them are in social housing as the area itself doesn't have a large amount of private houses. I could be wrong and they could all be renting but I doubt it given the area.

Your full time job here seems to be immigrants dole spongers climate change and housing spongers.

I don’t know how is that much that pays but I would worry about how much of your headspace it takes up.

There’s a whole worry. Almost like you have an agenda. Best of luck with it

There's a moldovan cleaner where I work cleaners are outsourced.
She works very hard she's only a young girl in mid 20s I'd say.
She had a child last year and instead of playing the system which alot of young Mammy's do ( I said alot not majority) she came straight back to work after 6months. No doubt she's on a terrible wage but contributes and now has a family to provide for.
Her husband is also moldovan she met him over here and he works as a cleaner as well.

Doesn't matter where you are from. There's far more Irish screwing the system then non nationals.
Sort out the internal wasters first because the internal wasters are the leeches that have been doing it since turning 18 I know a few of them myself.

1 family which I'm afraid to say but I'm good friends with them due to there son been my best mate.
They have 12 children oldest is 26 youngest is 3. The father works cash in hand jobs while claiming disability/job seekers since his early 20s he's in his late 40s now.
The mother never worked a day in her life but thinks she's entitled to everything. She pops kids out to avoid questions from the welfare.
They must get a couple of grand a month from everything there claiming a month

Out of 12 children there's 9 who are over 18. Only 1 works since turning 18 the other 8 claim job seekers 6 of the 8 are women 5 of them have children and are claiming homelessness. All to get a free house and benefits for life.
So this 1 family has cost tax payers with there constant breeding most likely a couple a million over the course of the family's lifes.
This is just 1 family like this there's many more.

This needs to be stamped out. It's bat **** crazy.

For the record I've never reported them because I know them since I was a young child to naive to the ways of social welfare fraud.
But I'm older now and it annoys the **** outta me.

Taken from rebuilding Ireland social housing assessment 2018 pdf

    Table 2.9: Nationality (Main Applicant)
    Nationality 2017 2018 Change 2017/2018
No. of HH % No. of HH % No. of HH %
    Irish Citizen 62,062 72.3 53,611 74.6 -8,451 -13.6
    EEA Citizen 17,228 20.1 13,432 18.7 -3,796 -22.0
    Non EEA Citizen 6,509 7.6 4,815 6.7 -1,694 -26.0
    Of which:
    Permission to remain
    in the State
    5,793 6.8 4,228 5.9 -1,565 -27.0
    Refugee 607 0.7 484 0.7 -123 -20.3
    Subsidiary protection status 109 0.1 103 0.1 -6 -5.5
    TOTAL 85,799 100.0 71,858 100.0 -13,941 -16.2.

Apologies I claimed 70% of a particular housing list was non national ,it's actually 50% non national made up of 70 different non nationalities

But yes non nationals do have access to social housing and application to housing lists ,

I believe just over 50% of applicatiants on housing list are unemployed and solely reliant on social welfare and rent supports such rent supplement ,hap and other schemes

Your posts are insufferable and many are just obfuscation and an attempt to derail threads.
You are now on my ignore list.

I posted my reasoning and views on all a while ago. You agreed that they were fair reasoning. Your job seems to be following posters around attacking them rather than making counter points.

    https://m.independent.ie/irish-news/news/we-have-done-nothing-wrong-a-day-in-the-life-of-a-homeless-family-38260238.html

This mother at least trying to work and make an effort. But this story shows the reality behind the homeless figures. 56 percent are non national. This woman and the oldest 2 kids are Moldovan. How are they even here. That's not an EU country. So we have to house educate and medically care for this family of 4 where daddy is no longer on the scene. 2 eldest kids also awaiting hip replacements.

I wonder do these eastern European countries think we are a bunch of eegits. Move to Ireland and hop on the gravy train.

Your spot on, but be careful you'll be labelled a "racist" or a xenophobe

Yea but their are own to deal with not the rest of the world problems on top of it. Would I get a council house in Moldova?

Not a hope of you getting looked after in Moldova. They'd laugh at you

You have shown that you don’t understand how the border with NI works, are you actually in Ireland?

It really doesn't, Ireland has a habitual residence condition for access to social welfare benefits.

More information on that here https://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/social_welfare/irish_social_welfare_system/social_assistance_payments/residency_requirements_for_social_assistance_in_ireland.html

It's quite surprising to me that often the same people who complain about freeloading immigrants milking out system, are quite often the same people complaining that Irish people returning from abroad can't access benefits for this exact reason.

I did explain that in my next post. I was not sure how long it is now; I came here from the UK but things have changed since then.

So a year on and you can have habitual residence access to benefits, but not "off the boat"

187,000 Irish people emigrated between 2012-2017. No problems. But yeah let’s end free movement. Immigrants coming here are problems.

    That’s some reach.

How many of those 187,000 left to scrounge off another country. I bet a high percentage that left work and contribute to the country the now call home.

You claimed earlier that ‘you can’t bypass immigration to get into the country’. Do you stand over that claim?

So, if we were to start sending non national homeless back to their country of origin, what is likely to happen to them back there?
Is there any hope for humane treatment?
Because I can't sit easy on doing that.

    This too shall pass.

Not our problem! There's no room for compassion for the whole world regardless of what many idealistic people like to think. I know it sounds harsh, but it's the only way our civilization has any hope of lasting.

My father was in the defence forces his whole life.
His job was to organise getting troops to peace keeping missions all over the place. Charter planes equipment gear etc.
He then was brought into dept of justice to teach them how to streamline a process. Turned out to be how to get one plane full of deportees supervised making stops along the route rather than one by one deportation at huge expense to the state.

Sure there are many probably deserved deportation. But a great many more were and still are deported and returned to the terminal dangerous situations you allude to.

But we’re a Christian country apparently.
