Still coming down here. Hasn't really stopped sticking since around 5 although there hasn't been any really big-flake heavy bursts. Fluffy snow, occasional graupel but mainly small-medium sized flakes.

I'd say we are around 2.5 inches on the concrete yard.

    312m asl Roundwood

As someone said to me earlier, no snow as far as Rathnew in Wicklow but I got as far as Glenealy on the Rathdrum road and the rain turned to a very wet, icy snow. Roads were lethal. Fairly heavy layer on the ground now but its horrid wet stuff. If it freezes tonight the roads will be undriveable tomorrow I reckon. Approx 100m asl

    Impressive.

I told the lads to go out and play in it. They told me to feck off.

Are we still expecting streamers from the Irish Sea or snow showers that will leave us with something . Looking at the regional forecast met are still saying low level accumulations possible .

Very quiet in here, I'm taking it that means there's not much anticipated for tomorrow?

Honestly I think "streamers" is a bit of a stretch. Showers, maybe, but I doubt we'll have proper streamers.

The majority of the snow in Cornwall fell on high ground. It was cold rain and sleet on low ground just like in Ireland. Most of the snow thats on the radar over in the Uk is very light. The extreme south-east of the UK may get a bit of proper snow, but looks like most it avoided the southern coast and has made it's way across the English channel instead. Very little north of that M4 corridor between Cardiff and London.

Fecking plate tectonics has a lot to answer for.. Has us in one of the worst snow positions in the world.

Heavy sleety/rain in Waterford City. Temp 2.2c DP 0.7c so close to the change. 24.1mm of rain today

Mick do think we’ll get snow here.

Lots of frustration but I still somehow manage to love the RNG of it. Just something magical about it when it comes in Ireland that no other country has for me.

While that's true, My friend on the Isle of Wight is getting a PROPER dumping. snow is finally sticking there now, heavy snow for a good 2 hours now.

I wish i could include the photo but my account's too young.
