Teams paying the 6 highest paid QBs failed to make the play-offs - and only 3 of the 15 highest paid QBs were in the play-offs - Brees, Luck, Rivers (4 if you include Flacco)

The Broncos have received permission to interview Rich Scangarello for their OC vacancy.

Gary Kubiak will have interviews for the OC job with the Jags and the Vikes. The Vikes makes sense given that Cousins was drafted by Mike Shanahan.

Kyler Murray looking for $15m to stay with the Oakland A’s and not declare for the NFL Draft. It would have to be a major league contract and not the minor one draft picks usually get which means he’ll have to be added to Oakland’s 40 man roster without having ever seen a pitch. Also means he’ll be out of options much earlier and they’d almost certainly lose him in free agency. A lot of money for a player that has never played a game and you could only get half the years with him that you’d normally get.

Just declared for the NFL draft on Twitter

Fair play to him for trying to leverage as much money as he can from this but I’m not going to enjoy the next few months of ‘will he or won’t he’ dominating the draft news. Hopefully he makes a definite decision either way soon.

He probably won't until the draft - and then if he goes in the first two rounds. I suspect someone will take a flier on him in the first round - could even be the Broncos at 1.10

Of course it does. He can get drafted and then pull out.

To go first round teams will want assurances that he will actually play football, would any team really be willing to risk a high pick, don't think so.

Different being taken first round in baseball with the systems in place there.

Only person I can remember in this situation is bo jackson. Did Dion sanders do the same or did was he always going football?

I hope he goes to combine at least. If he actually measure 5'10 and 190lbs, I can see teams wanting him top 10.

5'8 and 180 though, and with the uncertainty around baseball as well, and that becomes a lot harder.

Genuine fear he doesn't have the frame to take the punishment a player of his skillset will receive.

Going to be interesting when he’s supposed to report to baseball spring training (mid February) as this is when football players are preparing for the combine. He can’t be in Arizona with Oakland and be in some combine training camp at the same time.

Or at least he can’t give 100% to both. Especially if he wants to either be a first round pick or get fast tracked to the majors

A team would be mad to give a first or second for him if he hasn't fully committed to football.

He'll have to decide either way before the NFL draft as when he falls there he loses all his leverage with the A's and MLB and won't get a cent of that extra cash he is demanding.

So Adam Gase has already become a meme at Jets

Some brilliant stills from the entire interview. Crazy eyes haha.

    Getting called Adam Gaze

Hopefully he does well and sticks around long enough for rte to do some nfl coverage. That may never happen, but all it took was those 30 seconds to realise just how much I want to see Kenny "eyes of a serial killer" Cunningham interview Gase, with them each sat close and facing each other.

Colts went from giving up a league worst 56 sacks to a league best 18 sacks this season.

    Worth noting another thing:

There was an incident that involved a guard, Denzelle Good, where Good walked out of the team due to what he felt were disrespectful comments DeGuglielmo made after the passing of Good's brother during the season.

He should get employment somewhere else, but he is an acquired taste I think.

Has to wait 2 more years. Can’t declare for the draft until after your junior year.

Manchester BIERKELLER, in the printworks. Usually busy there, if crowds isn’t your thing, The BROTHERHOOD, opposite the town hall is quieter but just as good for NFL.
