Why was Gerty a surprise to you?

On the flip side, who would not be a surprise....

She posted nothing of substance bar a slight suspicion of me or Oisin or both or none depending on what way you read it.

A few other posters and I ain't saying who stood out as mkre obviously good. Makes zero sense me saying who other than to give wolves ammo.

Not saying your lying, youre answer was fine.

But its also a bit if a convenient cop out that you cant answer it straight.

Sure... Definitely voting Fiona now, methinks...

I didn't bother responding to her again as there are some people that just make up there mind and there is nothing you can do about it. She seemed to pick my name from nowhere and is now stuck on it.

RIP Gertie - horrible way to die.

He's been spoken about a lot but nothing from Oisin since 11am. Could be RL of course.

Dessie am I taking your FFA as myself and Fiona then yeah?

As for the avatar, choose what you like you big vampire.

When it comes to the peeks, the point I was trying to get across is that we can't definitively clear anyone off them. Village need to bear that in mind going into endgame. If a seer comes out and gives the village 3 good peeks they can't be auto-cleared.

Although I'd expect most to know this, I still felt it was pertinent to point out is all.

Wendle, who was in charge of the market taxes

Probably nothing, but anyone know what this refers to? Did a Google on A Christmas Carol and Wendle and see no reference. Pure flavour? Or something? Thought it referred to Wendy at first, tbh.

Well do you want me to say I think x is such and such? If i die, I die! No biggie, priest on reveal I was on the up and up

Interesting also. Munch was posted on the dot of 10am. A full ten minutes passed before anyone posted. Surely there were a lot waiting to see who'd been munched? I suspect wolves would NOT have wanted to be the first one in to post, so I'd give Brendan villager points for being the first (not discounting that he *might* have been a wolf that just got impatient but leaning against that). Then, just as proof that people were waiting, a flurry of votes, all the below in the following ten minutes. I grant, I'm included there myself.

    Gertrude... interesting I guess.

So who was Gertie suss of - Fiona?

Was it a bluff by whoever killed them?

More questions than frickin answers at the moment.
    Holly WW wrote: »
Gertie also put in a staunch defence of Oisin. Question is was this a wolf play to protect a member (Fiona or Oisin) or just wolves choosing what looked like a good player?
    Barbara WW wrote: »
I posted monosyllabically because I hate D0 and can't be bothered getting involved with all the fluff and random accusations. Then held my peace after the "task" post cos I reread the OP and saw the "no tasks" bit.

Goddammit, literally the only read I had was that I thought Gertrude's post #234 was kind of wolfy. The only thought I had. That's that out the window. New theories soon hopefully.

A Scrooge kill not the SKs presumably?
    Barbara WW wrote: »
    Wasn't this a wolf kill?
    Isla WW wrote: »
Right so Gertie is dead. Probably worth looking back at her posts to see what (if anything) piqued the wolves interest.

In other news, we have a Marley. Now, do we think that Marley always knew he was Marley and had been in a BR with Scrooge yesterday or was Marley a sleeper wolf who was only activated this morning? Or infected by Scrooge? If he's newly changed to team wolf he could be posting differently today. Something to look out for.

"Scrooge & the evil spirits have an alpha and a power blocker, and may be able to increase their numbers or risk their numbers being decreased, either by design or by accident.
Update: Scrooge (Alpha) - Will peek as good if peeked by the seer
Update: Marley (Power Blocker) - Can block the powers of a player each night. Very evil and tricky spirit!"
    Brendan WW wrote: »
Peek as good in the OP also answers how peeks will be shown - looks like good/bad as opposed to full role.
    Holly WW wrote: »
Yeh but if Oisin was a wolve , would killing Gertie (who defended him) potentially throw shade on Fiona and off Oisin?
    Holly WW wrote: »
Is it normal for no SK kill on day 1?
    Brendan WW wrote: »
It might have been an SK kill, it's not definitive which evil team killed Gertie
    Isla WW wrote: »
Normal enough. Bit harsh to kill off 2 players on Day 1 when they might not have even posted.
There was probably a backroom competition for who gets the kill or else the SK just have kills on alternate nights so Monday is their first kill.

Did we ever get an answer to when the SK kills? Maybe it's at lynchtime?

    FFA1
    Oisin as previously stated
Ewan, 3 posts of nothing containing his own thoughts
Brendan, Weak FFA trying to be inoffensive really.

Lots of others who hopped a bandwagon too (looking at you clodagh)

    #FFA1

Brendan - 4 stars. 1 for posting in the first 5, 1 for saying the word confused, 1 for posting after munch and 1 for being on my bad lean side as the possible Alpha.

Mary - 2 stars. 1 for posting after munch and 1 for being on my bad lean side.

Henry - 2 stars. 1 for posting in the first 5 and 1 for posting after munch.

Only in the door and I've a lot of reading back to do. I'm not going to get a chance to do an FFA and theres every chance my vote will be a random pick.

I think we're playing an entirely different game tbh. Your FFA is ridiculous.

Oh yeah, I'm quivering in my boots :pac:

How about some analysis rather than some system that happened to work that one time:rolleyes:

There was more than just the system at play there too btw

You can do whatever you like Babs, it's a free country!

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,294 ✭✭✭Barbara WW

    If I can change FFA:
    FFA1:
    Angus - reasons as before
Fiona - trying to draw a seer peek. That's not very villagery
Riona - Not really a good reason but as before

You can if you wish. I'll be voting Fiona unless something dramatic happens.

But you are my numero uno suspect for the alpha role. You can take a lead on the thread, won’t show up as bad. Btw, I think you’re playing it very well. I’m impressed :)

Anon name please. Including the WW at the end of the anon names is important and using the right password is important.

Tip of the hat to QB and her lynch vote calculator. It's a really handy piece of kit.

Did we find out which nights the SKs are immune to peeks? Did tonight count as a first or second night?
