No worries on the weak FFA, pretty sure I've already been peeked but if not seer can peek me whenever. I expanded on Oisin earlier, as it stands my vote is going the same way. There is no certainties in this game unless your the seer and even in this game it's not 100% so me saying Oisin is a wolf and I think is Oisin is a wolf is effectively the same thing.

I dont like your ffa especially for someone who has posted so much, the detail you've put into is pretty much nothing.

Don't like it cos you're on it or because I post a lot? I don't have all (any really) the answers, sorry to disappoint you. Most aren't really standing out as much to me. Realistically unless Desmond comes on and wows me I'm voting him tonight anyways, only voicing other thoughts alongside them.

You do realise I replied to your feckin post asking why right before you dropped off the map

It was 3 or 4 posts below where you asked the question.

I love how Oisin responds theirs no point responding, flakes off for the day and doesn't even get a mention from people :(

No I obviously don't like it cause I'm on it, however your reasoning is flaky for someone who has been very active. With all the posts an analysing going on I was expecting more detail from you, that's all.

Fair enough I guess. I'm not certain on anything, I can always be convinced otherwise. You do make a fair point above that Oisin has been non existent today since early on.

Fiona, i haven't had a chance to rimmage through your posts yet i will do shortly.

What was your goal of your Oisin is a wolf post.

And what did you gain from it?

Gertie a surprising choice for munch. I'd have thought they would be hunting Tiny Tim. Thankfully we are dealing with stupid wolves!

Someone asked me why Oisin, purely style of posting pushes me to make me think hes a wolf trying to row through. The Gertie kill as speculated may be to put heat on me but sure we'll see. Pretty stupid move if it was

Why was Gerty a surprise to you?

On the flip side, who would not be a surprise....

    - Gabriel: something not sitting right with me in some of his posts; lacks substance and has a bit of a wolf-y sense about him.
    - Desmond: no real read off him but those 4 posts do stick out.

Clodagh I said that about Fiona before - the move from is a wolf to might be/think he's a wolf. Apparently my posts seem to have some substance if you're using that as a reason.

I don't know what to do with wolf-y sense though.

On Desmond, I'm not sure those 5 posts stick out. They don't really to me. Although the lack of anything else would stick out if that continues into tomorrow.

No issue with being on your FFA, I would prefer you put some thought into other posters, it may be important later on.

Angus for a second then. I thought a wolf would hang back and not post much or at all on Day 1. I mentioned the three that were still not posting at that time. Ewan and Wendy haven't really stood out yet, and seem genuinely busy. Angus' latest rush of posts, especially with multi-quoting and ISOing this early in the game, seem like a "oh sh!t, better up my post count or I'll start to look wolfy" ploy by a wolf. That, and his: "not trying to be helpful, trying to catch wolves" post.

He's only a soft second though, in fairness.

A fair point from Gab, I thought the same myself. However I wasnt saying it as I believe Fiona was looking for reactions.

I think Fiona was just rustling trees here, but thats just my opinion. If you thought the same, why bring it up .......... Id watch her and see what she does next.

Nothing to hang Gab for here though.

Okay it's been four/five hours since I was asking similar questions and you didn't seem best pleased with that. You said you'd watch her and see what she does next.

And I quoted Riona below because I find it interesting that she chose to leave Dessie out of her 'lynch list' of people posting around the munch (it should be before and after not just after if you want full context btw).

But it’s my list based on my parameters. If you want to include players who posted before the munch then knock yourself out.

Angus quoted this above, and it reminded me. This post, the first paragraph in particular sums up exactly why Fiona is a wolf:
    - Acts surprise at munch choice: check
    - Mention of Tiny Tim not previous known to us in OP: check
    - Self depreciating ribbing of wolves by calling them stupid: check

    I never said drop Oisin, I think he's a wolf, that's it.

The speculation piece your taking out of context, I replied to someone who was speculating on roles that aren't mentioned in the OP, there are some but it might not be worth speculating on them at this point IMO. Unknown roles are likely to be good roles.

I did like your post (despite being aimed at me) till the last piece, I might be a villager and so might Oisin. Of course we might (Oisin not so much), just feels a bit base covering for my liking!

@Fiona: it wasn’t that you didn’t respond, it was that there was no substance to your response. You threw Oisín under a bus. When questioned, you had no reason for saying he is a wolf.

The bold bit feels like covering tracks tbh.

And I’m not saying Oisín is not a wolf, I just don’t see anything for him yet.

Id like Fiona to answer my question before I condemn her. Her answer here should be interesting.

Why was he a surprise over others

It is quite probable that one or more wolves have posted after the munch. I am suggesting that the following be investigated further today.

    Brendan
    Holly
    Barbara
    Vernon
    Henry
    Isla
    Riona
    Steve
    Mary
    Fiona

My gut says there are more than one baddun in the above.

And if you want a third from me, it'd be Riona for this gem. Like, list nearly half the players and declare there must be a wolf among them. No sh!t Sherlock!

    FFA1:
Angus - One of the ones "analysing" posts, in a style that I disagree with. I don't think quoting a million santa memes and writing "this is fluff" after each one of them is neither analysing nor helping the village. He's number one for defending the fact that this isn't clogging up the thread with irrelevance
Riona - Soft second, also clogging up thread with "analysis"
    Mary - As above

Bad FFA but there you go, its all I have to go on

Very first post i said Oisin was a wolf, I also said Steve was dodgy too, it was an off the cuff post based on him posting a couple of times on page 1, could have been anyone. His response, then disappearance along with his fluff posting while accusing others of padding post counts all appeared wolfy.

Well, after wading through an awful lot of fluff and more fluff about the fluff, I see I am on two FFAs, for SFA.

I don't know what sort of in-depth analysis you were hoping for yesterday, Brendan. The only thing I had was that you seemed awfully keen to almost discredit the seer role, repeatedly pointing out that 96% was not 100%.. Given the masses of uncertainty in the game, I felt this 4% was a bit much to focus on. And whose interests is it in to discredit the seer and say that we can never rule anyone out? The wolves, of course. But then I figured you might just be being extremely cautious, so I decided to wait and see more. And it is also possible that the seer would want to downplay the seer's role, I guess.

Then today (granted, you grabbed my attention more when you accused me for no reason) you struck me as a little trigger-happy (accusations of wolfishness, fence-sitting, etc), and that's not something a seer would do, as they would presumably try to keep their head below the parapet a little longer. A wolf has the most to gain by pointing multiple fingers and causing confusion, I think. Though I'm probably just biased and retaliatory here, so I don't think you've got my vote.
Thank you for the link, btw - sounds link an interesting bunch. Is there any particular avatar you'd like me to go for that you feel isn't immediately incriminating? :p

Post munch, my unbiased money would be on Fiona. I wasn't particularly suspicious of her yesterday, but given Gertrude's posts and untimely demise, and her claim that she's already been peeked... I can't think of a better call at the mo.

I don't have a third for my FFA yet. Not even sure Brendan counts as one, I'll have another read through and a think...

It's not lazy and you're being sensitive for being called out.

If you're a villager, you're annoyed cos im pissing on your hard work and that's fair enough.

But i'm behind the theory that at least one wolf is throwing into these "analyses" to look helpful, and the more fluffy they are (quoting all the santa memes) the more likely I am to think its the wolf. It might not be strong, but it isn't lazy, there's a theory there.

If you're an NRV its a wasted peek, a villager wouldn't want that. More likely you're one of the bad roles that peeks good trying to bait our peeks
