I love watching Neil Cronin. Has a lot of variety to his game and has a nice quick pass. Why is he so far down the pecking order? He's looked great anytime I've seen him.

Stupid boxkick from Cronin, just gifting it back

KOB has had a fine game, carrying really well. Botha and Wycherley going well too for the fatties

This reminds me of a club game where you go to some s*** hole in the deepest end of (insert your province here) and the grass is ankle high, the pitch is cutting up and it's total.and utter disorganised chaos.

It's a horrific surface, and it's not making for a pretty spectacle

Johnston knocks over the penalty from between 10m and halfway, super kick. 17-0 at half time, good performance in rotten conditions. Pack are working hard, front row just shy of double figures in tackles made, Botha is 11/0.

Hopefully get an early try in the second half and kick on

That pitch looks terrible. Not sure id be bringing on Farrell to play on a surface like that given he's just back from a knee injury.

If we put as much effort into our backplay as the skirmishes after the scrums we'd have the bonus point

Eddie blaming Farrell for the melee, and he wasn't in there :D

Great work by the forwards to turn that over, 5m lineout with 2 mins left

And we manage to get the BP. Job done in what was a pretty forgettable match. Pitch was abysmal.

Roll on Friday night in a pretty crucial game.

Energy sapping game on a horrific pitch...the bp was no less than was deserved

Hardly deserved the BP considering how insipid our backplay was in the second half. Lovely flat pass from Murray to put Rory Scannell over. Could be an important point at the end of the season.

Pick of the bunch was Kevin O'Byrne, hit something like 12 lineouts, carried very well and got a try. Wycherley and Botha were impressive in the pack too with their hard work.

Backplay was utterly abysmal in the second half, no structure to it at all. Strange cos our handling and passing was quite good in the first half, it's like we didn't step it up a gear when the game was there for the taking (but did at the very death).

Conditions were rotten to be fair though.

Good to see Murray and Farrell back. Don't think we copped any injuries either so all in all not a bad day's work.

Did well, hauled ashore not long after half-time for Farrell to come on. Kicked a brilliant penalty in boggish conditions almost from the half-way that made it a 3 score game. I'd be looking to get him more game time that the other incumbents after Carbery to be honest.

Bleyendaal seemed to just kick the leather off the ball in the second half when he went to 10, not sure if it was a 'tactic' or just how we felt we should play it. Was awful to watch either way. His passing was nice in heavy traffic though

Bonus point away in Italy with a second string side in terrible conditions on a junior level pitch.....

    That's quite good enough

Well then your standards are terrible. But then here we are arguing about subjective matters, so with that said, good luck with it.

For the game considering conditions etc it was more than good enough. Nothing else was needed. No injuries and a win. Not much you can complain about.

That game won’t have any bearing on how we do in April(if we are still in the running)

But to have players like Murray, Oliver and Farrell back is huge

Bill Johnston, Fycherly and Coombes all had big games in the first half
