    I would have assumed that infrastructure would be more widespread than development but I am guessing. SP is in Sligo and it's a big department with a big budget and the west of the country tends to be busy for that department. No idea about Kildare.

    Has anyone been placed yet on the panel? I'm number 21 on the dev panel and I sent in references & qualifications 3 weeks ago. I've received back my qualifications but my references haven't been contacted yet. Just wondering has anyone started working yet? Or been given a start date? Have they moved up the list on the panel?

    I'm on the HEO Infrastructure stream and placed 12th on the panel after interview. I got a call yesterday about a position in SP in Dublin which I'm very unlikely to accept as I'm based in the West so hoping for Sligo.

    Checked the competition booklet again this morning to clarify what happens when I turn this down and it says "Candidates who refuse an offer of appointment to a specific panel and location will retain their placing on that panel but forfeit their right to be offered an appointment to that location under that panel." so I assume this means I'll still be eligible for an appointment in SP in Sligo should one become available??

    During my interview it was mentioned that the "infrastructure roles are more likely to be Dublin based" but who knows - I hope not!!!

    Wouldn't be surprised due to the slow pace

    Just found one of my references was contacted last week so might be a sign of things about to start.

    Unless it stated in the booklet that there would be second round interviews then there wont be.

    I'm still on it but waiting/hoping for some infrastructure places become available in DSP Sligo.
