Since going out to help people, a certain member has provided "proof" of their abrasive, deliberately obtuse nature and has been banned.

    Apparently, it does matter... :D

    Who was banned.

I was actually very surprised that this thread lasted so long without any intervention. Very refreshing, and kudos to the mods. Not an easy subject but it is great that we can discuss and say it out.

So what if a few people scam the system in all honesty is that worth getting all worked up over considering how good you actually have it in this first world country.

To be honest, this layabout herself isn't actually the one annoying me if I think about it, its the lack of challenge or counter argument being put forward.

I often sit and listen to radio or TV debates in this country and wonder why obvious questions are never asked any more?

I believe that out of that 10,000 homeless about 500 are genuine and the rest are scammers.

You will ask for evidence and I will point you too Erica Fleming or this one today.

I am sick of hearing about it, it’s a myth.

a myth that isn't a myth and is actually true? i didn't think that was possible?
Well why isn’t anyone reporting the truth????

perhapse they are? just because it's not what you want to hear doesn't mean what they print isn't the truth or at least true to an extent.
realistically the job of the media is to sell their product, nothing more.
Niall Boylan usually questions this stuff??

he did today didn't he not?

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

I know, and I am all for criticizing her, her actions and the system which enables her, but I am also telling people they need to get over it and be grateful for what they have instead of just hating on others all the time.

I do wish more people could be just brutally honest, but not out of hatred or nastiness, just be brutally honest to try and bring out the best in everybody.

If a few more were challenged and exposed....it would put an end to others chancing their arms in future.

But let them have free run, it will continue.

You said ''when they have one child it's too late by then to tell them otherwise.'' It's not. Going on to have 5 more after that at the cost of everyone else is avoidable. Your point was sh*te. Accept it. Move on.

my point was realistic. realistic is often s//t unfortunately. so be it, i will live with it.
We are a decent people and when we see genuine hardship we help others and always have

This fcuking nonsense we were presented with today pushed by certain quarters tries to make a mockery of our good nature

I know you mean well but dont try and defend it

i'm not "defending" anything. i'm being realistic and recognising the reality and practicality, as unpopular as it may be.

Galls me to see crap pulled by people like this who contribute nothing to society and just drain it dry for every cent they can (not even counting the costs of all the other crap that was pulled)

No reason in the world for any government to pay people to have children - two and that's it - the country is not run by the church anymore. Any more you pay for them, continue to have kids then forced sterilization.
People work full time jobs and daren't even have more than two kids because they know they can't afford to but hey you're onto a winner if you're on the social, pop em out every year or two
Far too long this country has been a soft touch. Take all that money saved and spend it on the health system for the like of people fighting to get medication to save their lives because of illnesses that were not their fault and so many other areas.

forced sterilization is likely to be against human rights law. probably international law as well. not going to happen. if children are born we have an obligation to support them regardless of our opinions of the parents.

EOTR, I'm angry and sad that you still stand up for someone that is clearly milking the system. Don't tell me that she is justified in her antics today. Someone that has a kid at 17 maybe a mistake, but 7 is clear to me that they want it all. Without paying into the pot.

I'm actually disgusted at your defence of this person. Promoting someone that does not add to the public coffers.
But all they do is take, I find it baffling that anyone can defend this.

I said before have a look at her fb, if you have not. And still posted this ****e. Well, I'm so lost for words,im not really. but I would get banned for what I want to say in full about her. Her past and all on here defending her, over hard working people and her (and her defenders) of entitlement of hard working people. I'm seething tbh.

how am i standing up for her? where have i defended and stood up for her? certainly not on here. recognising the realities that children will be born in to all sorts of situations and in some cases will require us to provide supports for them, is not defending the actions of the parents.
People who are unable to house themselves SHOULD NOT HAVE 7 KIDS
    Wake up .

agreed, however they do and they will. and those children have to be supported.

Can anyone tell me what exactly she adds to this country?

Gives the police a job I suppose with her record. Also all those free legal aid folks too. Keeps the justice system going, which I'm a part of, so thank you Margaret Elizabeth Cash for your continued custom. If the children follow in her and her ''partner's'' footsteps, I'll have loads of overtime in the future. Thanks again Ms Cash, I'm grateful.

The MSM has shown itself up to be the absolute garbage it is no questions, no facts no anything except presenting this as a typical sob story of someone being hard done by without mentioning the fact of her multiple children however many there were. Why didn't they ask her how she can manage to support those children or where their father was. Why doesn't the media ever ask these things why is it left to social media sites to look for the answers.
