    Ye've probably seen it before.

This'll stir up some controversy. I feel there's nothing particularly wrong with this overtake, plenty of visibility, lots of notice, space to move over to avoid him etc.

But if I know this thread, the way I think I know it... :p

If you force other traffic to take evasive action then you shouldn't be making your manoeuvre.

I'm sure the truck driver hadn't checked for obstructions in *your* hard shoulder before starting his overtake.

Truck driver was endangering other road users - pretty simple really, you shouldn't be forced to use the hard shoulder because of oncoming traffic. Grand to use it to let someone overtake you

Isn't this banned anyway in Ireland?

It's not your job to facilitate someone on the other side of the road. He used his size too bully people off the road. What would happen if someone took too long to realise what he was doing and failed to get out of the way?

On the other hand, I'm more offended by the giant protrusion on your windscreen blocking part of the video. What is that!? :-)

Black box. Incase I have a crash.

Ah no, it's just a trim behind the rear view mirror. It is quite clunky but I presume it houses some electronic stuff (rain sensors or the likes?).

More like a scene from "Dixon of dock Green" but worth watching to see scum cleared off the streets.

The jacks seems like the best place to be if you were in the caravan! ;)

Jeysus that was brilliant. Fair play to them 2 lads for calling it in and some amount of coppers turned up very quick. I'd say them lads were in their radar and once they got the call they weren't letting them get away.

Amazing! Excellent response from the Police. Delighted to see that they came properly prepared. When have you ever seen a Garda response like that?

The 999 wait did bug me though. Imagine that if you've a burglar in the house! :(

Pretty sure if knife crime was as bad here as it is there, then they would do the same..

13 minutes response time. Not bad although if the lads on the mopeds were smart they wouldn't be hanging around that long.
