Can't link it but there seems to be a new Mayo News GAA podcast available.

    Tipp preview and U-20 review.

Besides the trip to Tipp, great to see the great Ciaran McDonald and Micky Conroy involved in the under 20 setup.

    Tough for young Oisin Mullins.

All Ireland semi final v Derry/Armagh.Lots of the orchard county lads likely to be suspended.

Might provide the Rice College brigade an opportunity to right the wrongs of the colleges A final.

Shrewd move by James Horan to manage the covies with the crazy amount of talent feeding through. There is going to be many a county title heading to Westport me thinks.

So much to be positive about with the likes of Ryan O Donughue,Ross Egan,Tommy "goals" Conroy,Paul Lambert(brother Pat),Oisin McLoughlin,Colm Moran and the many other Westport lads. All credit to all involved.

When was the last time that Ballina produced a good county underage player? Evan Regan in 2011 is the last I remember. There must be talent going to waste there you'd think.

Warm weather is promised for the weekend. The beer gardens of Thurles will be bouncing.

Sean Regan was a decent footballer as well.

Plenty of celebratory bottles of Clonmel Champagne for the travelling contingent hopefully.

There seems to have been a bit of a shift in Westport and Ballina. Purely anecdotal, but all the good young Covies seem to be opting for GAA now (for a good few years) whereas Ballina are doing very well in the soccerball with a very talented young team. (Ballina were always pretty strong in football, the switch with the young Covies is much more noticeable).

Rugby is also very popular in Ballina and have a very good team

As Bjork once said "It's oh so quiet".

But think about it, if Mayo keep winning then there will be loads to talk about almost non stop from Saturday until at least August Bank holiday.

    Can't wait.

I hope James Durcan starts on Saturday. I was really impressed with his running and the speed at which he takes off is pretty impressive. I though for a moment I was watching a young Andy or his future replacement

Hype train leaves Saturday, no stopping until All Ireland Final Day.

It's been a quiet year for the GAA forum so far this year imo.
    Things can only get better.

Hi all. Will it be possible to buy tickets at the ground?

All Tipperary football games at Semple are unreserved seating and most buy at ground.

Turnout from us won't be too big.

If there was 10-12k at it they would be doing well

Always people hanging around the ticket bus trying to offload spares for discounts. Got 2 free tickets there for the Limerick match.

People tend to be wary of purchases these tickets but I don't understand why, not going to be many fakes for a qualifier game. Was trying to give away a free ticket for the Galway match but people were refusing and buying the same ticket for full price. I wasn't even using my creepy face. 😋

If you buy them in participating Supervalus or Centra before Saturday they are e15 each. They are e20 on the day.

    It is.

You do not have to buy before for the €15 price.

I must be thinking of the league.

No not only league, Provincial Championships operate on that basis too (whereby you get a reduction for buying online before), but qualifiers don't.

Attendances are usually much lower anyway in qualifiers, I'd say they don't want to discourage anyone from deciding last minute to go on the day.

    Actually think you do.
I bought a ticket for the Mayo/Limerick game few days before that game.
    15 euro in SuperValu.
On the morning of the game same ticket was 20 euro. 'Matchday price'
    I stand corrected.
