Heard the last 20 on the radio, there were two points in it at that stage but Mayo just blitzed them. Fair play.

Great result I was pretty pessimistic about their prospects considering Roscommon had blitzed a highly fancied Galway outfit.

Fantastic to see some new lads coming through.

    Great and very important result

Fantastic to see a crop of forwards flourishing in a big game. O'Donoghue, Egan and Conroy are top prospects

Hard to know who you'd want to lose more in this.

    Roscommon kicked that away.

So Mayo no longer out on their own at the top of the Connacht roll of honour. Galway tie up with 46 titles

We will be top of roll of honour forever more in Connacht after this year.

Ya but Mayo also have a Ulster championship which they won in the QF v Tyrone in 2016 so there.

2 wing backs were very impressive today. That Lambert guy looks very good. Also, the number 24 (can't remember name, from Lahardane) was excellent. O'Donoghue looks skillful but does amount of mouthing at his team-mates when they mess up!

There are a good few from Westport. I am sure Horan is delighted to see this but I guess he had it well analyzed before he took the senior job.

Or are Galway now on 47?

Your long enough here to know the script.

    Mayo lose to Galway.
    Mayo play qualifiers.
    Galway exit meekly.
    Mayo lose final by point.

Oh and Dublin win, and win, and win.

Great win by the U20. Some fine young players there. I'd say Horan is delighted with that crop coming through.

Rossies will be kicking themselves, threw it away.

So are we all set for the trip to Tipp??

It's about a 45 min drive for me so no excuses on that front....have been working hard to convince my 5 year old for the past few days that Mayo football is the best thing in the universe. Have him bribed now with the promise of a Mayo flag and chips :-)

It'll be the radio for me unfortunately. A drive down to Achill for a 7pm kick-off means that'll have to do me.

I've no such troubles with the young lad however. Once we got them out of Dublin a couple of years ago, we began the intensive cleansing (brain washing) straight away. He sings the Green and Red nearly every day... I nearly wish I was joking. His hatred of the Dubs isn't healthy for a lad who has just gone 4... but sure, would you have it any other way.

Haha....nothing wrong with an irrational hatred of Dubs....will serve him well no matter what he does :-)

I'm ok with him following Limerick hurling (they're probably the nearest thing to Mayo in terms of hurling anyway) but Mayo football will be rammed up there as well if I have anything to do with it

If he's any good he'll switch back they all do.

    PARlance Grealish.

Or just move back here, with all 9 of his sons. Like Grandpappy Brogan. Lord bless him and keep him.

This game is on sky so those of us that partake in unoffical streaming should be able to find it easy enough.

    Its 5pm throw in

I know. I've to leave Castlebar at 5pm, to be in Achill for 6pm, for a 7pm kick-off for myself.

What soccerball game thing are you going watching at 7pm in Achill on Saturday?

Snugboro vs Achill... missing it isn't really an option when you're in charge. I could get them all down there for 5pm though... but they'd be half cut come kick-off.

He's not for turning. Mayo father, Kerry mother, born in Dublin... I've done my bit, the rest is up to him.
