Might be a bit it an odd question, but has anyone else started receiving calls from Sweden and UK since purchasing the One Plus 6? I'm getting a lot of calls from numbers in those two countries and it's only started happening since I bought the phone. Assuming it's a scam, but just want to see if anyone else has had the same thing since buying the phone?

I get them in general the last 6 months, no increase since the OnePlus.

The lag seems to have lessened too

Ugh I cant decide between this or the Galaxy S9. I've had both the One and 3T, loved both but it was a no brainer buying them cause they were both way cheaper than all other flagships at the time. Now its a much tougher choice considering you can get the S9 for pretty much the same price.

Don't suppose anyone here has both phones?

If I had of known I might have gone for the galaxy S9. One thing to note though is that some models of the S9 have non-removable tracking by facebook. It is possible to mark it as disabled but is somehow still semi active, and you can remove it after rooting the phone but that may cause issues with your warranty.

I'm in the same boat after seeing the price of the S9 on Amazon. I was all ready to purchase the Op6 but now I don't know what to do!
I'll be coming from a Moto G4 though, so whichever phone I choose will be a pretty big upgrade.

Coming from a Moto, I'd definitely choose the OP6.. Personally can't stand Samsung overlays

dad just ordered a mirror black 8gb+128gb version, coming from a nexus 6p. The pixel 2xl was just too expensive + my issues with its screen before. Looking forward to it now :)

Definitely not, best I've had in 10 years. I only charge every 3rd day if I'm not using it much.

I'm amazed at the battery. Full charge before work on day 1 and I'd get to the evening of day 2 no problem and that's with heavy enough usage. Delighted with it.

I bought a spare dash charger for work and I'm kinda wishing I had bought something else because I haven't needed it yet. Obviously in time the battery will deteriorate so it'll still be used :)

In the same position myself but upgrading from Moto G5. Swaying to the OP6 as any issues with the samsung might be difficult to deal with a Spanish seller?

There's a separate thread about deliveries etc

Ordered one of these this morning but I picked the mirror back by accident, so I cancelled it again. Thinking about an S8 off Amazon instead (€100 cheaper). Can't decide.

I'm also in exactly the same boat.
I'm just worried the display will be noticeably inferior on the OP6.

    Currently have a Galaxy s7

You can get the S8+ for €545 on Amazon Germany. I do like the Oneplus 6 a lot but I'm seriously considering the S8/S8+ for less or the S9 for a little more than the Oneplus 6.

If you're after camera then go with S9 no doubt. But apart from that pick OP6 if you're after speed, full android experience with minimal bloatwares and dash charge. It's one of the main reason I use OP device. No need for wireless charger or water proofing.

Seriously impressed with that (Picture stat). It's on the list for my S8 upgrade in a few months. Hopefully you won't have much battery drain by then!

I got rid of an S8 and got the OP6. Battery life on the S8 is gash. I could actually see the battery percentage reducing - dropped 21% in the space of 45 minutes while in my pocket.

How long did you have the S8 for? Is it worth the change?

Something off with that. Battery life on my S8 is nowhere as bad as that. You can't just throw out a stat like that - obviously some app draining your battery if it dropped 21% while in your pocket.

That was when I got it initially and didn't have all the apps I wanted installed etc, I'm getting 36+ hours (two days and the night between) going from 100% to battery saver at 15%.

To try to preserve the battery long term I've tried only charging to 80% and charging at 15% and even on a day with 8 hours screen on time, 30 mins of gaming, 30 mins - 1hr of youtube and 2+ hours of reddit I'm still easily getting 24 hours sticking between 80% and 15%.

this was about two weeks ago, after installing some update. There had been several reboots and no apps were running in the background. Phone was 6 months old and the battery was never great to begin with (this is coming form OP3, should never have changed). I'm not just throwing out a stat like that. It actually happened. Obviously that was the very worst it went, but I regularly had to top up when I got home from work so it would last out the day.

Anyone else having an issue with media volume on OP6 when using wired headphones ? It seems like there is a very low limit on how loud they can be. Bluetooth headphones are much louder. I can't find any setting to make it louder. I listen to music while running and like it loud, but I can hear mostly traffic.

I'm not but lots of people were. the update notes for the update a week or two ago said "increased maximum headphone volume" so that might help.

Can you not edit the sound in Settings - Sound & Vibration - Audio Tuner?

I'm on 5.1.8 and the volume has increased in loudness by between 10 and 15% roughly when listening on wired headphones

Is anyone having issues hitting the 'Home button' or the 'scroll through apps' button, while typing, or is just me?
Shall I order a dialling wand?

I did but I switched to using jestures as that hitting the home button got annoying while typing, you get used to the gestures pretty quickly

Sorry, how exactly do I enable gestures?
