Adoption/fostering is a pillar of the prolife side but as mentioned earlier adoption is short of impossible in most if not all cases as fostering is the main preferred option by the relevant authorities here.

In the U.K. at the moment and cant see it yet but according to my wife prime time is covering the Keith Burke case tonight.
While there are many fine foster families out there, others are not as this case shows, given that his parents were told by the authorities not to give him unsupervised access to any children in their care but left the children there where the abuse continued.

The Adoption Rights Alliance is advocating repeal. They wrote a very strongly worded paper on it too.

ARA is opposed in the strongest possible terms to the notion that adoption represents a viable alternative to abortion. We firmly recognise the right of a woman to choose not to proceed with a pregnancy.

All sides lie in anything that involves getting people's votes, as Yes supporter Pat Rabbitte said, its what you do in elections.
The yes side here take a holier than thou approach as if they are full of virtue and no one on their side ever lies.

I'd say feminists who don't belong to the group, would know its a common emblem used for identifying that group world wide. Anyone else can do a quick google image search and find similar images belonging to out if they needed to, but wouldn't say that most would need to, for example one of the google images results brings you to soc_fem twitter account https://mobile.twitter.com/soc_fem

Really, most will see Socialist feminists and think...lefty preachy feminists, not to mention the hand grabbing something in the womb with a Yes...in a quest to legalise abortion more widely.

After watching the Burke case tonight, it would really highlight the backward nature of this country in relation to children.
Preventing abortion & congratulating ourselves as a country that values the lives of every child equally. Then ignoring the fact that unwanted children can end up suffering a life of abuse and mistreatment in foster homes or mother and baby homes.

A horrible history this country has and continues to have.

Translation: I've just seen the absolutely ridiculous thing January posted and I have no way to respond to it due to how embarrassing it is. Instead, I'm going to deflect, and hope nobody notices.

Again, you have some neck accusing others of a "holier than thou" attitude.

Has Robert ever been able to actually show any lies by the Yes campaign?

Does the Yes side ever tell lies?

    Yes or No?

What lies has the Yes side told, Robert? How do you think they compare to the lies the No side has told?

in case you missed this :)

How did I know that was going to be a pro-life video before I even pressed play?

    January wrote: »
It's not actually . It's from the March for choice a few years ago just cleverly edited to suit an agenda as per usual. Robert tried to use it in the other thread but was called out on it then too.

I never post here something out of the blue directed at anyone. I feel it is targeting someone to do it, when it has absolutely nothing to do with me.

I am not like Yes people here who act all gullible that the side they support only puts out the truth and no lies.

You’ve made a few claims that the Yes side are posting lies, it should be easy enough to back that claim up with some evidence.

    Can you do that?

Lies which you are apparently incapable of recounting here.

What I mean apart from the individual case mentioned, is the general lack of resources to handle child protection that is ignored by the prolife groups, and by some that child protection legislation shouldn't be applied to the act of confession gives credence to the 'once their born forget about them' image for me personally.

While there are I'm sure people who are people who are prolife and will be voting to retain the 8th, who do a lot of work and community activites with children and will be sickened by the prime time report and the case itself; But if one of the victims had fallen pregnant and wished to terminate their pregnancy well that's just their bad luck isn't it.

Look at this thread, there was the denial of the 12 weeks, oh it has nothing to do with the referendum and we don't know what will be introduced.

Today when it suits to say 12 weeks will be restricted, this gets posted.

I refer you to Disabled People Together for Yes's facebook page for an answer to this one. Are these the types of checks you're talking about?

One minute I am accused of telling lies, then the same proposed abortion law is used and a bunch of sheep are thanking it because it is their side of the argument.

Here the same person said this in a reply to "ok then what do you believe will be introduced as abortion law?
Don't know is not an answer given we know what is proposed.":

I'm not making up that you are telling lies, you are most definitely spreading lies and misinformation all over this thread.

I've read what is proposed, and it is just that, a proposal. It is lies to make out that if the 8th is repealed these proposals will come into legislation when the government have to vote on it.

So maybe January was too busy telling me I lie when she used the same proposed legislation which she called a lie...
Is January saying she is a liar for using the same proposed legislation which I used and which she claimed was part of me spreading lies and misinformation all over the thread...?
btw I don't think she lied when she used the proposed legislation. I think she lied when she accused me of lying and then went ahead and used it herself anyway.

    Killing the unborn is compassionate.
Healthy women killing healthy unborn lives is healthcare.

Yes side telling men talk to your sisters, your mother, girlfriends because they are all apparently Yes voters, another lie.

Yes posters with no mention of the unborn, just slogans which could mean anything. Actively trying to be untruthful about abortion.

Well most people who don't like feminists might think that, but perhaps their the type who would vote retain anyway. Not that some feminists don't annoy everyone at some stage.

As for the hand in the womb, nope anyone who is even close to voting age knows the Venus sign, the socialist raise fist symbol even if one of them doesn't know it one of their friends will, or they'll search for it, their not all as thick as John McGuirk believes they are or would like people to think they are.

If you think the above are lies, then what do you think is the thinking behind them? Why do you believe people are lying in order for the 8th to be repealed? What benefit would it be to anyone?

None of those are lies. Stop reaching, you'll fall off the high horse you think you are on.
