There's a few days a year I really regret buying a rear wheel drive BMW. Would be able to explore at least a bit (no, not in the Sally Gap!)

Maybe a Defender once this lease ends

Snowing in DUBLIN4, we had long break without any.
Kids preparing to go back out.

I'm not sure hiking boots are so great in this weather. Their profile is more suitable to walking on the rocks in dry or wet conditions so they are rather hard. You need sturdy but softer rubber soles for snow. I have snow boots myself and they are different from hiking boots and much safer to walk on the snow.

Heading towards there now from the city. Coach full with college students cutting their week short. Trafic moving quite slowly. The weather was worse, sorry - better, than I was expecting today. Hope there is at least a dusting in Mayo when I arrive home.

In north east Mayo we have more than just a dusting!

After getting in under a streamer last night looks like Newbridge and Naas will have to wait its turn tonight to get in on the action

Went for a walk around the Old Bawn area in Tallaght, roads and footpaths are very icy. Not much fresh snow in the last 3 or 4 hours.

    Hi Guys
Just wondering how far North the storm gets tomorrow night/ Friday. Will it get beyond Offaly Kildare sort of line?

Never seen anything like this in Galway.

There’s cars parked along the M17 from tuam
