    Picture of 4x4 having overturned in Kinsale town centre on Kinsale Notice Board on FB. The snow showers seem to have been quite localized and have hugged the coast from Cloyne down to Clonakilty. What was remarkable about them is how intense they were. 6 inches outside now.

    Local radio encouraging people to stay indoors from 3pm tomorrow. Sun has been out all day just outside Gorey in North Wexford and the small dusting of snow we got last night is melting. Calm before the storm quite literally I guess.

    Yeh, East Cavan got hit but not much in the central and Western part of the county.

    Really glad I stayed up late last night to enjoy it.

    Hopefully we'll see something more interesting in the next day or 2.
    in 2010 there was a decent bit more, however it had all melted by 11pm on sunday, the same day it appeared. Rained whilst in mass then.

    keeps trying to snow here, every time there is a heavy burst it only lasts about 20 seconds and then back to light snow grains and sun tries to shine.

    Slight thaw on some of the roofs of houses even tho the outside temperature is -3C.

    My view to the northeast from Arklow at the moment
    Unfortunately it’s heading due west in the east flow
    It’s the furthest south I’ve seen the convection though

    Not far down the road from you Gonzo in Dublin 15 and its been constant showers all morning topping up what is already there. No sign of a thaw and no sign of the sun .

    No thaw here I am right on the coast in dublin 5. Yet to see the sun today, been snowing nearly all day. So much more than I expected given my location by the coast.
