I couldn't stand Spring Breakers, like yourself it's one I just got around to recently, but the way it was edited together done my head in. Its like they were trying to extend the length of the movie.

The Sinner is excellent, I was very surprised by how good it was.

I guess Altered Carbon will be what I'll start next.

Funnily enough the editing was another thing that stood out for me :D

I'm not loving the sinner. Each time I watch I think "ah I'll give it one more episode" haven't gone back to it in a few weeks now though. So many coincidences and at one stage we were watching and preempting exactly what'll happen and her lines. That's the last one we watched.

The ITV shows Marcella and Paranoid, which never aired in Ireland, are on Irish Netflix now for anyone who wanted to watch them.

It was an ITV show, I don't think it aired on BBC. Maybe you still get UTV and saw it there?

Altered Carbon season 1 (generally positive reviews except empire 2 out of 5)

After one episode I can say that Altered carbon is very much style over substance. Dodgy acting. Great blade runner feel.

    I’m ok with that.

I don't have ITV now but maybe the 1st season was available before on ITV before Ireland lost the station and I then watched the remainder by other means:)

Apologies to Occona, I was nearly sure It was a BBC show.

Does anyone know where Bad day for the cut was filmed?

I think it was shot where it's set, which is Tyrone.

Edit: Although the only places I can see named specifically in the credits are in Belfast or Co. Down.

Tried watching Marcella but Anna Friel's trout pout was just too distracting for me.

Watched It’s Kind of a Funny Story last night. A teenager gets himself checked in to a clinic to deal with his depression. Like a teenage One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, very watchable. 7/10

Watched the detectorists after a few recommendations on here. Really enjoyed it. A handy watch and the two main characters are excellent. Had to watch the third series elsewhere.

I watched this over the weekend and I enjoyed it. It's not without its faults, but I thought it captured the spirit of the time well (even if the wigs were objectively awful).

I loved that they cast Joel McHale as a Chevy Chase given the fact that Chase famously got fired from Community years back.

This made me laugh. I'm watching it at the moment, enjoying it but it's all I see when I look at her. I remember when she was in Brookside she was the same. I'm going back a few years there:D

You can, but you'll have access to the Spanish catalogue.

You can use your Netflix account in any country in the world except North Korea, Syria, Mainland China and Crimea. Available content will differ from country to country.

I think not being able to access Netflix in North Korea is the least of their worries over there.

Finished watching Manhunt: Unabomber. No idea if it was intended by the filmmakers but Fitz is a wholly unlikeable character, along with everyone else portrayed in the FBI and all my sympathy lay with Ted. Despite knowing the ending and what he'd done I was still willing him on.

Not sure what to make of that. Seems quite deep and odd that Ted is the sympathetic character in an otherwise by the numbers docu drama. Maybe it was just me!

We Paul Bettany is a brilliant actor giving a brilliant performance as Ted and Sam Worthington is a poor actor giving a wooden performance as made up character Fitz. The story of the Unabomber is fascinating but the show is pretty much forgettable apart from Paul Bettany.
