Not even remotely in the same league as the other photos posted here, I know.
Unfortunately when I moved these from my phone to my computer (they were too big to post as they were) they lost some of their bright colours. I tried to fix them a bit, but they're not as nice.
Also, the "scribbles" on the bottom left of the last photo are there to hide a car.0 -

Today/Dodder Milltown
An Egret appears once every 4/5 months in our 'neck of the woods'( or maybe that should read in our 'stretch of the river').
Don't know why - but they are spooked quite easily- as compared to the Heron - a click of a camera from 30 metres can send them on their way:(

Light-bellied Brent Geese in Dublin last weekend. As discussed in another thread, there's a very low proportion of juveniles this year.

Fallow Deer during the rut in Phoenix Park - one of the longest fights I've seen, with the darker of the two eventually coming out on top!
