    Saw a few pics from the night there earlier on, I think the guy should get another medal for getting a boner despite the fact that the place was full of onlookers, he probably had a load of beer in him and the wan shining his rod wasn't exactly a stunner.

    John 3:7 aka Frank Moloney from Limerick was a part of televised matchdays for over 25 years. Don't know him personally but I have met and spoke to him at games over the years. Have'nt seen him out and about in Limerick for quite some time. Last time I did see him he looked frail so I assume he has quit attending big games.
    Generally he commanded great respect at games, even on a packed Hill 16 the Dubs always ensured his 'spot' was preserved.
    Maybe the GAA should consider placing his 3:7 sign in the Croke Park museum.

    I can't confirm that one but it would be quite close to him as he lives in Castletroy
    But anyone that ever spoke to him regarded him as a total gentleman.
    Wonder what his opinion would be of Ballyragget-gate....:P


    BTW it wasn't just GAA games where he displayed that iconic sign. He was also a regular at televised rugby and soccer games.
    Had a good knowledge of the games too. There was a documentary on TG4 about him a few years back.

    Stupid tasteless drunken antics by those lads and those recording it are idiots but as long as it was private and children were not present, I don't see the problem.

    This is Ireland approaching the 2020s and we're not in the 1950s any more.

    Nothing to do with the GAA other than the people involved are also in the local gaa club and had a gaa trophy with them.

    Its more the pub they were in that should be shamed for allowing the public indecency happen in that pub.....but newspaper has an agenda to have a go at the gaa on this...bigger headline than local pub has dirty strippers & drunks taking videos & pictures.

    I'm not going to derail but.....WTF.What exactly was wrong with them?They were picked from the website I presume so there must be a reason (or two) for that,they're making a living so they must appeal to some people ,it actually annoys me on here when people say they're rotten etc..they didn't gatecrash they were pre-booked so that's says more about the men than the strippers imo but that's another story.
