Tbh beer or not it a bit **** having control issue s already . Bitd the only arcade around here like that was not maintained at all. It great that it's there and all but to me they need to up there game

I've been there about 5 times since they first launched. One set of buttons were fecked on Ghosts and Goblins first time I was there, but not too big a deal, just use the stick with my non-dominant hand, slight handicap. But every time since then the buttons have worked but the stick doesn't work great and Arthur keeps getting stuck in the crouch position and it becomes an absolute nightmare to get off the top of ladders.

That game is unforgiving enough without control issues as well.

If you look at the video they have an arduino and some sensors sending the score to a smart phone.

Speaking of VR i'm mad to give New Retro Arcade Neon a go soon.

Dr. bob what usb interface did you use in your modded iCade?

May as well mod mine as I cant get Mame and RetroArch working on iOS 9 and i have a Seimitsu LS-32 and Sanwa buttons in it going to waste.

Would love to recreate Palmerstown Bowl, where I used to play a lot of arcade games back in the day. The program itself seems like it's a bit involved to set up, but totally worth it - will be picking it up!

One limitation is that you cannot change the layout of the Arcade yet unfortunately.

Another dealbreaker for O1s1n is that the liberto core cannot run Sega Megadrive emulation on Windows 10, just Windows 8!

I suppose you could always make a Windows 8 partition exclusively for ityou were desperate enough though!

Ah, damn. I thought you could literally design the groundspace etc yourself. Is that planned do you know?

Ugh :( I'm reading about significant input lag within the program itself too. Maybe I'll hold off on it until it improves

They're certainly aware the comminity wants an editor for the layout but something tells me it would have arrived by now if they were working hard enough on it.

Its a small enough dev team it seems. I wonder will something better come out in the future.

A friend is looking for a pal N64 power supply, where's the best place to go?

Just back from a week in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area. A friend of mine brought me to three of his favourite retro game shops and seeing them makes me sick with what we have to put up with here.

Everything is around half the price of games on eBay. I continued picking up common games to bulk up my collection and rarely spent over 10 dollars on a games. Ended up picking up so much I've had to ship them back to Ireland.

Rarities still go for crazy amounts, the likes of magic knight rayearth, snatcher and popular mail were probably way more than eBay listings although I get a feeling the prices of those games might have sky rocketed.

However even semi rare games are amazing value. For example a mint Megaman Legends was 40 dollars, I spent in excess of 100 euros for my copy last year.

My only regret is I didn't pick up more stuff but needed to money for the rest of the holiday.

Also picked up a Nintendo Power Final Fantasy guide which is in great nick. The guides are actually really well made and illustrated, just wish I'd picked up a few other issues.

How did they let Retr0 back in the country without a cavity search....
I mean, he looks like the guy with 2kgs of narcotics up his bum, they should get stuck in there until they found it.

But, more seriously, you didn't buy any of those things really, you just bought copies of Legend of Dragoon to get freaky with back home.

A pretty good Zx spectrum fan film came out few days ago, it's quite niche since it's all spectrum related but I really enjoyed it, bit more than bedrooms to billions even(though it's not as polished). Crowd funding fell short so he had to put a few grand of his money in to it. Lot of interviews with familiar faces in the Spectrum scene, and some are still going, working on new games for original Speccy and the Next.

There's a download version, dvd and also bluray.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

I pulled the BT interface out completely and used a zero delay usb controller something like this :
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/No-Delay-USB-Controller-To-PC-Joystick-For-Arcade-MAME-2Pin-LED-Push-Button-2-/191573937950
The rest of it was a Pi 3, some laptop speakers and the guts of a small monitor I picked up second hand.
