Just me or was there a battery life improvement from the last update?
Seeing almost zero drain over night now.

    What big update? Android O?

I installed the latest 4.15 yesterday, didn't have any problems before and didn't notice any difference afterwards...

I meant big as in significant in comparison to the updates that are mainly bug fixes

The below were included in a beta a good while ago and since then there was a couple more betas with new features that weren't included in a OTA yet
All new launcher, added support for shortcuts on 7.1.1
    Redesigned app drawer
    Redesigned UI for launcher settings
Added status bar icon option to display real time network speed
    Added Notification Denoising
Added Gaming Do Not Disturb mode
    Added automatic Night Mode
Added Secure Box for file encryption
    Optimized touch latency
    Optimized camera EIS for videos
Improved contacts management with linking and merge functions
Added quick pay option for India

    + more

I'm seeing about 7% now, where I was seeing up to 20% before, so it's definitely gotten a bit better :)

Anyone know if it's possible to get 3T's now? Seems to be gone from their Irish store. Don't want to be an early adopter of new tech.

Oneplus pulled them from their store at the start of June. I'm sure there are other ways to buy but not directly from OP.

OxygenOS 4.1.6 Size 45MB now available.
Nothing major in the release notes.

If using a VPN that is slow, you can turn on the VPN, check for updates, turn off the VPN and then download it. It was much quicker for me anyway.

did they take long to arrive?
theres a company called screen hero charging 20 quid for one, cant see there being much of a difference

Was here within a week. It does the trick and I can't see how any worth 20 would be particularly better to be honest.

Has anyone noticed quieter music (lower volume at max) since the latest update? I can't tell if my earphones are on the way out or it was the update. Or the the answer could be scarier and it's my hearing deteriorating. I've had bad hearing since I was a child.

My music over bluetooth seemed lower in sound earlier on when I was driving. I thought it was just the songs, but the update might have messed with some equaliser settings on the phone!

I played around in the settings and couldn't find anything. Hopefully it was the update, I love my xiaomi earphones and don't want to wait a month for another set! Deffo don't want to go and drop 60 odd quid for a pair that won't sound as gold as the ones I have for 20.

    Thanks for the replies!

Anyone's battery life terrible lately? Used around 20% just browsing the web for 20 mins! Phone gets quite hot too...

Thinking of RMAing it...anyone else done this? Did they actually do anything with the phone or just send it back un repaired?

Have you updated to 4.1.6? The 4.1.5 update was recalled, possibly due to battery drain issues

Boardsie Enhancement Suite - a browser extension to make using Boards on desktop a better experience (includes full-width display, keyboard shortcuts, dark mode, and more). Now available through your browser's extension store.

I'm on this one and battery life is brilliant.

I'm on 4.1.6 and battery has been considerably worse than when I got the phone. Screen time is almost halved.

Yeah I'm on 4.1.6 also... Drain is real for me
