Slate me for posting this but there's a few politicians who have blood on their hands tonight by supporting/endorsing certain manifestos. Not all countries have to go to war but some countries obviously choose to go to war because they think it's the done thing. Whether it's ISIS it's not known yet but it's obviously some organisation that may want to teach the UK a lesson.

No need, sounds like you already know how tasteless your post is.

Does anyone know what the right thing would be to do in this situation? like how can you stop the bleeding

Get her lying down with her legs elevated a bit would be a good start.

NHS sources saying it was a nail gun. Nothing fully confirmed as of yet, but if the sources are credible then injuries they're seeing might be consistent with it.

I dont think nurses or docs working on the injured would have had a chance to take breath as of yet. So doubtful this could have got out from them.

A lady on Sky there talking about the smell of burning and how she just missed the explosion. The whole thing is awful, that people especially young people can't even go to something like this without tragedy.

Anyone else find it weird how little information is coming out about this? As in, how big a blast was it, how many were injured / killed, are the rest of the patrons being safely evacuated, etc

Usually it doesn't take this long for a clear picture to emerge, makes one wonder what the hell is going on in there.

Yes totally. May have something to do with the timing as it's late. I would have thought that if it's not terrorist related then it would have been called by now.

So whatever the motives it's the government's fault? Whether it was Islamic or Republicans or PETA?

Things like gay rights, women's rights, Jews being allowed walk the street, public music etc etc, all will be more of a motivation for those behind this than Britain's shi77y and nasty history abroad, recent and otherwise.

It's only happened in the last few hours and is a developing story, people still being treated and investigations only just under way.

How can you expect such big answers so quickly?

What is your problem? I mean that really and truly? There must be something seriously wrong with you to push your agenda and your sh1te in a thread that involves poor children being killed.

Why don't you go f*ck off and just go away. You're a parasite. You're nothing more than that. I couldn't give a toss about if this gets me banned or not. I'm attacking you, not the post. You're a parasite and a leech and nothing but an absolute and unabated abscess of a c*nt.

No. I'm saying that we can't jump to conclusions ,even to the ones we feel comfortable with, until we know more.

Sky news are horrible at reporing issies like this... talking live to witnesses at the seen.

How many explosions did you hear? (Fair question)
And where was the explosion? (Fair question)

Oh the ticket hall and after the explosion there did you have to walk through there?... ie did you see guts and dead people and tell me if you did...

Jesus that is terrible, she looks in an awful state and the people don't seem to know what to do or how to stop the bleeding.

Does anyone know what the right thing would be to do in this situation? like how can you stop the bleeding

Depending on the severity of the injury you may not be able to stem the bleeding, only reduce the flow.

The injured person should be put on the ground with the legs elevated. In a situation like this, a belt (handbag strap, t shirt etc etc) should be used as a makeshift tourniquet and applied upstream of the major bleeding.

Properly applied tourniquets can prevent loss of life even in catastrophic injuries such as a complete loss of a limb.
