Yes, i agree. Trucks coming off the Link road have to pull out across the 2 lanes on the roundabout if they are turning left as there is insufficient room for them.
Then i noticed cars this morning approaching this roundabout from the north didn't know which way to go , coming to an almost stop on the road and then taking off again seeming very unsure. They have hand sprayed "Galway" with an arrow to the right on some of the plastic barriers but its really not very clear.
They should have left the completion of this roundabout until the bypass was open and this would take the bulk of the traffic away from this area during its construction

No this section at castlelambert is the most behind it just needs the jersey barrier

I see the speed signs going up at Rathmorrissy. Does 60kph seem very slow on the free-flow sections. i.e. Westbound M6 to Southbound M18 or Eastbound M6 to Northbound M17 where you don't have to go up to the 'roundabout'?

The freeflow slip on the M7-M20 at Rossbrien in Limerick is 100km/h, and is well able for it. I'd imagine the freeflow slips here would be able for 100km/h too. It would aid merging on the busier sections (M6) if traffic was merging at as high a speed as possible.

I dont think this roundabout was on the original design, it was just supposed to be a T junction as you come off the bridge. Not that i think that would be much better as someone coming off the bypass and wanting to go towards tuam would have to potentially stop on the road and wait to turn up on to the bridge and could very easily be rear ended by someone else coming off the by pass.
Then the bridge itself is very steep and quite sharp on kilconoly side and then on the town side it dips back down and before rising back up. I wouldn't like to be driving or cycling it on a frosty morning! Could they not have taken a bit more land and extended the ramp down off the bridge so that it wasn't as steep and also the junction not as close to exit off the by pass?

I drove this on Friday and found it was actually bigger than it appears, and is still the best part of the R332 leading out of Tuam.

The pictures do make it look small, though.

that's the next flyover after coldwood heading south, about the tuam bypass there saying 05/08/17 and the m17/m18 early November but that will change, its all about the waiting to see what happens at this stage

I've purposely been going through tuam with the school traffic as it's safer than what they have going on near Burke Road and kikcloghans! I woman going north from Tuam thought it was a two lane coming to the roundabout and ended up on the wrong side of the road to oncoming traffic. She was so confused! It really was a nightmare.

It should take you about 18 mins it all depends on what time your leaving at ,annagh hill to rathmorissy 11kms at 120kmph,slip road/roundabout/slip road 2.5kms at 60kph,m6 to junction19 7kms at 120kmph,n6 3.5kms at 100kmph
