    Anyone else missing "their" swallows?

Not near as many here as normal

Depends on the course workload too. Some of them would strongly advise against part time work.
Sister studied in England and theres a government loan which will be paid off only when she starts earning over a certain amount per year. She thought it was a good system anyway.

It's only a fraction of the cost that is ever recouped though.

Yes, have them in shed, but not at house. I was putting that down to the fact that magpies raided their nest on gable last year.

    Take a picture.:)

Don't want to worry you but the Search and Rescue Helicopter landed on top of the Blackstairs Mountain today in Wexford. A walker must have got into trouble on the mountain.:(

Dress appropriately and make sure your phone is charged up.

Do you mean through people not paying or the fees not covering the actual cost of the course? Think it's written off after 30 or so years if it's not paid off.

To be fair the state should pay in some way towards education at 3rd level. So should the student and let's be fair, so should the parents.
The state will likely gain multiple times the investment through increased taxation should the student (as expected) go on to be a higher earner than those who have not.
The student has a duty to parents and the state to not act the bollix and try to help where possible with the cost.
The parents Imo, and I hope I am in the position to do it for my kids, if possible should be trying to help the next generation improve themselves. You pay this debt to your parents forward to your own children. That is my firm viewpoint. My parents helped me where they could so that I would be in a position to help my kids. I would hope they will want to pay it forward too.

Days like this ya hate going to the "real job", could be topping or doing a bit of fencing, or a host of other bits. :(

If I could 'Thank' this post 10 times I would. I was up to do a few jobs before I came to 'work' and it was a killer to have to leave it.

Killing me. Cattle are still in and I need to fence. Instead I'm inside looking out at the sun.

I dunno how criminals put down their Time. I'd loose my mind.
