Christ but there is some difference in ground in this country. Was in Roscommon with work yesterday. Started off from home with ground like concrete. Paased a guy in Ballaghaderreen cutting rushes with a 4 wheel drive 4235 sunk to the back axel and finished up in Taughmaconnell with a good shot of silage cut and met a few contractors on the road.

Fact, my main silage meadow is in travelable- no manure out on it yet. and they are saving silage back in lahinch.

Crazy week with day practical exams.
    Finally got the cattle out.
The house is up to subfloor so delighted with that.
Off to Dublin for a concert for the small lady and hopefully the zoo for a while.

The OH is driving for once and with her usually hoon driving flies past a Gatso van. So when that letter comes in, I'll frame it as an I told you so.
A lad passed me yesterday in a bmw jeep, he was flying. Squad car coming in the opposite direction, they did a u turn fairly quick and pulled him in :)

Had 2 missed calls from an international number yesterday. Rings for about 2 secs then hangs up. Just after the second one today in the last 5 mins but a slightly different no. Dialling code is 252. Safe to say that after checking it out I won't be answering them. Calls are coming from Somalia.

Myself and a few friends did the darkness into light earlier. Fair turn out in the local town for it. Good too see people care and are willing to donate.

My local one (Kilrush) cancelled their event this year due to pieta house offering no services in west Clare despite being offered an office, funds from the event etc.
The first year of DIL- pieta took all the money without paying civil defence.

That said, it's a great event and worthy cause.

All it takes is one act to ruin it all. If everyone was as good as the people who organise these events they'd be no problem

    I got those calls before.
They hope that some people ring back the premium number.
Rings for 2 seconds and stops and then some poor eejits ring back wondering who it is and are charged e40 a minute.

I have an uncle that does that as well.
Rings from the mobile for about 2 seconds and hangs up. Then expects you to ring him back. The cute hoor.

The " my phone was nearly out of credit" defence.

Our family did it this morning. We raised over 6000. That is enough money to help 6 people. Its a great cause if only the government cared more about the state of mental health in this country. Pieta house offers free counselling to whoever needs it.
If only my brother had the sense to talk to them a few weeks ago. : ( : (

Fair play to you and your family. Your a credit to the country. So easy to stay behind a closed door. It's what we do in adversity that defines us.

Very true. People don't seem to take mental health seriously. Often people live life through a lenses and their able to put filters on everything to make life look great.

Put those numbers into your phone's 'blacklist' folder. Awful nuisance getting calls like that interrupting you. Once put away the phone won't ring again.

Had 2 lim bullocks visit me this evening, even came into the pit in the milking parlour, 2 lunatics. 5 lads had been after them since last night. We got them down the crush and they got them home

Had a football game back in Miltown today and crossed back to Ennis through connoly and kilmaley. If there's anyone on here farming back that side I salute ye, ye don't have it easy!

Great to see other medallists coming out of Skibb. Mark O'Donovan and Shane O'Driscoll get gold and Denise Walsh gets silver.

Some twat decides that the only film clip they would put on RTE News Sports was of Paul and Gary coming in fourth.

So I asked him "Do you know anyone in Somalia?" :D

But sure that could be our long lost cousin Viktor, he often inherits heaps of money, he just has logistical issues getting it into his own bank account!

I injected all the calved cows with Copper when I moved them a while back. Very obvious the difference in the coats between the ones I injected and those I didn't do yet.

Did you notice some kind of deficiency or is it normal practice for the land type?

We've always injected for copper here. But this year I didn't do them all together.

    Poor couple.

I'm sure the scum came from a difficult background and really only need help and support, plenty of hand holding and public money spent on them, definitely not a sentence anyway :(

This country is gone too soft and focusing on getting handy money off hard working people instead of laying down the law to these lads. Tis a joke. If you defend your property and injure those guys they could sue you for damages.
