The OnePlus 3 Thread - - - -(No delivery posts)

Couple of quick questions.

I`m seriously thinking of moving from an iphone to this.

Are you guys selecting normal free shipping? Also Ive always had a low profile Speigen case on the back of my phones and have seen similar for the oneplue3T but also like the look of their own cases too.
Any recommendations? I usually leave the screen bare as am pretty good with looking after my phones. On a 5s at the moment and dont have any scratches on the screen.

Both models are showing as in stock so I presume the turn around time for an order is a few days? 4-5 days?

I know someone who ordered one on a Tuesday afternoon and had it delivered that Thursday (express delivery).

The OP cases look nice, fit well but offer no protection in my opinion.
They're beautiful phones but slippery little feckers to hold onto without a case like the Spigen that most people (myself included) seem to opt for.

Thanks for that. I presume its the rugged armour one as that one looks the best option?

Also, although I may not need the space, the 128GB seems a no brainer? 40 euro extra for double the memory.

That'll be fine.

Its spurious cables that are the problem, so using an OEM cable with a regular 12v cigarette charger is fine.

Seems to have gotten worse for me since the last update. I used to get two days out of a charge minimum, but more and more I'm falling into the having to charge every day trap, without having changed my use in any significant way.

Over an hour screen time, still around 80% - which is fine.

If you are buying from Oneplus, you wont be hit for any customs. They ship from Poland I think.

Case looks fine and the cable will work. Dont use it with fast charge adapter.

Depends on how long you want to wait. There's always something new on the horizon

thanks! So the Fast charge cable and plug can only be used together? Have a few USB plugs so will prob just use them with USB-C cables or connected to laptop

There's a black 3t coming out soon apparently. That'll be a nice phone .

I have a OP3 with two sims (work and personal phones) and I think I have my contacts spread randomly across the two sims and the phone memory itself.
What's the best way to tidy them all up so they're all together...?

Ideally I'd like to have the complete contact list saved on each sim and the phone.

Also what's the best way to back up my contacts off the phone in case anything ever happened it and I needed to restore everything.
Is there any OP app or program that I could use to back up the whole phone...?

Make sure your set to 'english united state's' in your device


Once done it just enabled itself and is working 100%

Did you do anything to "activate" it?
I'm in a beta on both those apps, but I still have Voice, not Assistant

It eventually appeared for me this morning after clearing cache for both Google Play Services (beta) and Google App last night.
