Hey, does anyone know since the midnight black 3t is being sold and only quoted with US$ prices that it will ship from America and we will get hit by import duties if purchased?

Will it post from the EU like regular 3t's?

    Hi all,

Just wondering if someone can recommend a good calendar app? I upgraded from a Galaxy S5 and generally am super happy with the phone and see it as far far superior, with the exception of calendar.

I use it heavily and found the S Planner on the Galaxy fantastic. Really, really versatile and user friendly.

Also, while I'm having a moan, how can I set it for vibrate only for calls messages etc?

    Thanks!

Has anyone ever got a new back for your op3?

The camera lens is cracked and now that I look at it, the sides of the phone are a little dinged up from the case being hard plastic.
I see you can buy replacement backs but has anyone every done it?

Give Digical a go, I found the month text view to be similar to S Planner when I switched. Much prefer it to the likes of Google calendar.

Lads I got a Oneplus 3T yesterday and I love it for the most part. I'm having trouble receiving text messages sometimes. I'm on the 3 network and it was perfect on my previous HTC M8 but the OP3T I'm getting significant delays on receiving some text messages. Sometimes it takes until minutes after the message has been sent from the other end, sometimes hours and other times it doesn't come through until I'm sent another message so they come in at the same time. It's incredibly frustrating and the only blip on an otherwise great experience with this phone.

Has anyone else encountered a similar problem or can offer a possible solution?

    Thanks!

Other than that (which I can't help with I'm afraid), how are you finding the upgrade from the M8? I'm considering the same upgrade. The one caveat reviews seem to mention is the camera, but I assume it blows the M8's out of the water? That was subpar even 3 years ago when it came out and has always annoyed me.
What about the physical size, is is easy enough to get used to?
Worth it overall? My M8 still works but is slowly falling apart and can be randomly very slow.

    Hello,

Going to purchase the 3T for myself, Just one question for the owners out there before I do.

The dual sim. Are they active at the same time? Or do you have to toggle between.

I have my personal phone and a work phone, Be handy to run my own sim for calls, data etc... And just have the work sim in there for receiving calls.

But if I have to toggle between the sims it wouldn't make sense, As i wouldn't know exactly when I'm going to receive a work call.

If anyone knows please let me know and I'll hit the buy button :D

I changed system language to US English to get it a while back - is it now available to UK or Ireland English on the op3? What is your system language set to?
If so, how do you force the update via vpn? It happened automatically for me when i did the US language trick, but i tried switching back to UK English just now and assistant has disappeared again.

    Both are active on standby.
You can make/take calls on either at any time, no swapping or switching.

If you make/take a call on SIM1, incoming calls on SIM2 will go straight to voicemail (and vice versa) while on the call.
Similarly if you use SIM1 for data amd make/take a call on SIM2, your data connection will be interrupted during the call.

Google assistant being available or not has nothing to do specifically with the oneplus 3

Assistant should just be a matter of changing language to US. Worked on my other phones.

Yeah, I'm wondering if anyone has got it working yet without having to change language?

Found this and it worked for me! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjOadgFEX-A
I'm sure some of the steps aren't needed but I just did them all anyway. Anyone anthing cool you can say to the assistant that makes it worthwhile changing from the normal search? I set it up with IFTTT to turn on and off my WeMo switch on my lamp.

Honestly, I'm loving it. Yes the camera probably isn't anywhere near the level of the Galaxy S7, but it's still very capable of producing great shots so long as you have a steady hand. I was never impressed with the M8s camera either but I find OP3s to be far better, and far better than I was expecting it to be based on the reviews I had read.

I prefer a slightly bigger screen so it's made a nice change, just don't expect to be able to do everything on it with one hand. One thing I loved coming from the HTC was the change from the on-screen buttons on the M8 to the capacitive ones on the bezel of the OnePlus.

Audio quality probably isn't as good as the M8 (The dual front speakers was HTCs showpiece with that phone) but it still provides a good experience and with headphones it's great.

My M8 was the same, I could hardly type on it without a delay between between me pressing a key and it appearing on the screen. I was amazed with speeds of the OP and it's ability to keep multiple apps open in the background without any slowdown.

It's a really great phone, you'll love it!

Yep, works perfectly. I have a personal sim and a work sim in mine, I travel a lot for work so I have the work sim set up as the preferred sim for data when I'm abroad, I can make and receive calls and texts on either sim and I have it set up that it always asks which sim to use to make a call unless it's a frequently dialled number where I have it set to always use one particular sim. They're brilliant, I used to carry two phones and two chargers.
Someone I know has one sim slot with a sim that he uses for data only that he uses as the main wifi hotspot in his house.

The Midnight black version will be available on Oneplus.net in 2 days, if you want it.

The black version appears to be a waste of time considering as it only seems to go on sale for a short period and gets sold out in minutes.

They are shooting themselves in the foot as I am holding off buying the grey one for the past two weeks because of trying hopelessly to get the black.

Since I updated, Bluetooth automatically comes on when you turn the phone off airplane mode, very strange.

It was all a bit strange with the version available in the shop in Paris and then such a limited run on hyperbeast.

I'm sure we will see the black available on general sale pretty soon so I've no idea what they were at with these two "stunts". Obviously publicity but they would have gotten that anyway if they just offer d it straight away as a new colour. Just luck at all the attention the red iphone is getting since it was announced.

I bet they're just trying to sell all the 3t's before they bring out the 4/5

I'm using a Wileyfox Swift dual sim past year and I can't fault it love it. I think I'll keep this until the Oneplus 4/5 launches in July.

Anyone have an issue with Bluetooth?
Can't connect to anything since yesterday.
Icon is not lighting up and says disabled even though I switch it on!
