I didnt get any replies to my thread so I will ask here.

Every morning when I wake up, I have to turn on airplane mode and back off again in order to get the wifi connection to work. I will be connected to the wifi but it wont load pages, anything, until i do the airplane mode trick.
I get emails during the night and whatsapp etc so the wifi does work until some stage.

I have to do this during the day too, after I get home from work its likely ill have to do it twice in the evening.

I have the wifi router to 2.4ghz (because my gfs 2012 MB Pro doesnt have 5ghz), and just standard settings. Our Macbooks have no issue connection at all.

DOes anyone have any ideas? I have to do this when on 4g too. Even if I have 4g and full bars, streaming in the car likely wont work until I do the airplane mode trick.

Its very annoying and Id appreciate any insights. Thanks

I've had this problem in the last couple of weeks too and the only fix I could find was switching to 5ghz connection only (i know that won't work for you). It's a weird problem and I'd like to get a more rounded solution

At least Im not alone!

Our router is a crap UPC one and it cant do both frequencies at the same time too, when I set up the 5ghz the 2.4ghz went dead

I'm having the same issue on my OP3, usually have to turn off the WLAN and reenable it and that resolves it for another few days but then it happens again. It's an annoyance but I can live with it.

If it was every couple of days I would manage, but several times a day is a right nuisance.

My last Huawei Mate S was the same though if not quite so bad. My partners Iphone 6 is the same but not as bad.

This would lead me to believe its the router and not the OP then. Change the channel on the router for starters.

I would have thought so too but the laptops work perfectly.

I will see if I can change channels this evening although I have a feeling I have tried this already.

Not being smart but how would I have done something wrong? I was doing a stock system update. Not flashing ROMs or rooting or anything like that.



Definitely not booting to recovery. Fastboot only.

Maybe turned it off because you thought it wasn't doing anything or battery not charged enough to do the update.

Get onto them I'm sure they'll swap it out for a new one if you can't figure It out.

They are releasing a very limited edition of the oneplus3t in conjunction with Colette in Paris.

A black version with Colette engraved on it. Only available from Colette, it will be the same price as the regular version. They are literally only making a couple of hundred units I think.

I'd say it's a black version without the colette written on it. The colette event was this morning. I just ordered my 3t yesterday so was raging thinking a new phone was coming but it's just a black version that I don't want. Hate to be one of the few that flew to Paris to get the black version yesterday

Probably going to be called midnight black. I would have refused to accept delivery of the 3t if it was a new phone on the way

Have the gunmetal 128GB in my basket for the last week and was about to order but may change that to the black if it becomes available for immediate shipping.

Anyone else finding battery life poor since the latest update OOS 4.1 ?
Usually I wouldn't blame a ROM for poor battery life, but I've made zero changes since the update last week and I'm finding myself charging more.
If anything, I'm using the phone less, cos it's draining so quickly.

At a guess, it's probably that FB app again, but I have no proof of this
