Switch is back to using friend codes apparently, as well as Miitomo, twitter etc. A bit stupid really as now everyone has a unique Nintendo ID. Searching by username would have been a lot better. Hopefully an add by username option is in a future update.

No sign of either shipping yet. Doesn't matter as long as they arrive in Newcastle by the 10th when I'm there.

Still no game bundles in Game stop, think theres a lad outside queuing already on a deck chair. Smiths have some game bundles, 2 games and switch for 380€

I told you it was a bundle of a Switch and Bomberman for €360, at least I think that's what it was....
Bomberman/1,2 Switch with the system for €360

I wouldn't trust IGN. Reviews are mixed. Seems like a good party game but outside of a party setting it's not going to keep you going.

I want more bomberman reviews. Seems good from what little there are.

1 - 2 Switch is one of those things I'll eventually pick up when it's down to €20. Zelda and I Am Setsuna will do me for day one.

It seems you can create separate accounts and access both the Japanese and US eshops freely, only some early reports of this at the moment anyway.

I know you said that, but he phrased it as switch + 2 games for 380, and I'm a greedy bastard. I let it blind me.

I asked customer care about changing Click n Collect orders at point of sale and it sounds like it's a no-go. C&C are separate from the in-store pre-orders, they reserve the money on your Credit Card when they reserve the stock and then collection is just an ID check, there's no in-store transaction. So bundling might only be an option for in-store pre-orders. I may have to make a fuss or sulk a bit tomorrow, threaten to turn over some Shopkins displays or something....

edit - thinking about it, even if they were willing to notionally cancel my C&C in-store, then release the stock for me to buy as a walk in with a bundle game, I'd need enough headroom on my credit card for 2 switches, since they wouldn't remove the reservation until COB saturday... god damn it!

But friend codes don't stop you playing with random people online, right? You just need them to add people, like you would with a user name

Yeah, I was thinking about picking it up, cos I'm getting all caught up in the excitement.

But then I remembered I shelled out for Nintendoland, which I played maybe once after launch day.

Mostly cos I don't ever play multiplayer games.

yes but it's a lot easier to say: "Add me my name is CreamyGoodness" than: "Add me my Friend code is: 2463-2568-9877-5643".

Disappointing they are gone back to Friend Codes, maybe a little saving grace thought is it seems to be only 1 way this time i.e. You send someone your friend code, they add you, you get a request to be their friend. Instead of both needing to know each other codes. Still seems the logn way round to go about it though, although it never was a huge thing for me anyway, more a slight annoyance.

GameStop finally got back to me and will ship my games sans the extra set of Joy-Cons today. They couldn't change the bundle back from the Snipperclips one apparently, so split the order and apologised.

Those Smyths bundles look great though. Almost too good to be true. Kinda annoyed now, but bit late for that I guess.

Question though, was it ever confirmed that the ZL/ZR shoulder triggers were definitely digital? I notice a small bit of travel before the button clicks, and probably about double the amount of travel on ZR compared to the left. It's really not much, but enough there to do a bit of analogue control...so unsure if maybe my controllers just had random travel to them. I have no way to check in a game, and the button tester in the settings menu doesn't show anything until it clicks fully.

1-way worked on the Wii U though, so it's hardly a move forward and does not bode well for the other assumed progressions they're saying will be made in their Online offering and account system.

I can probably hold off on 1-2 switch until it drops in price, it might be a fun party game so handy to have at some stage

However I will probably pick up Just Dance tomorrow when I pick up my switch as this is most likely to get herself interested

Hi Racket what Smyths bundles are you talking about? Really tempted to get one after Zelda reviews but can't see any bundles on their website.
