It wasn't even an ad was it? I only checked it out this morning but as far as I can see she only #ad because she mentioned the pharmacy and so has to use #ad at every mention. But the post itself was not an ad

What did Holly say because I could find it?

What did Holly say because I could find it?

She gave a clap hands emoji. She's using other people's ability to poke fun at Rosemary to justify her own bully behavour.

Dublingirlo posted a pic of instagram complaining about bloggers using #ad #spon and it looks like a dig at Rosemary.

And who comments on it straight away? Holly Carpenter:rolleyes:

She did not and rosemary is the only honest one

Is Chloe Boucher doing some kind of a deal with the Hapi Food Co? Like I watched her one evening and she was saying how her snaps weren't sponsored as she bought and paid for all the food herself and they didn't know who she was,but then the next day she had a 10% discount code for everyone and was giving details on what was the best day to order. Why would they give her a discount code unless she was working with them or they knew she had a following? Also she seems to be excessively snapping her meals from them. I don't get it.

She's not though, she's definitely going against the grain and i don't think she's hidden but there's other bloggers I'd trust the content a lot more from than RMC.

Just saw the instagram post from Dublin girlo... bloody harsh of her. And as for Holly Carpenter!!! You're damned if you do #ad or #spon now even just to be safe!

    https://heartifb.com/2013/02/15/case-study-affiliate-earnings-with-rewardstyle-vs-shopsense/

That's the article I was reading. I just googled 'rstlye how much' and that's the random one I clicked on.

Also I'm not sayin Irish bloggers do the click ones I'm just saying that it's another form of link!

Dublingirlo's post is just horrendously bitchy. Rosemary is actually trying to highlight mental health issues and she's being very honest and realistic about the every day slog of living with depression.
Dublingirlo generally just posts things describing the current state of her vagina so I doubt that Rosemary is or should be any way concerned.

And it is really horrible how many of the commenters are agreeing... I get the irony of me commenting here on a blogger thread on boards saying the following, but I've been annoyed by things many a blogger has done or said and I've never felt the urge to needlessly go to a public social media and openly mock them for something personal (or any mocking to the best of my knowledge). That instagram post is tough reading.

I am a fan of RMac, but I did think the pic was a bit too much.

I really don't get the point of it (highlight mental health, but does it really??)

I even thought of a new thread called "bloggers who share too much"

Back on topic, Sj used to promote Dominos a lot but hasn't so much lately. I thought it was for her love of pizza but smaller bloggers where promoting it too recently with #ad. Does SJ even eat
    pizza?!?!

Disgusted at dublin girlo notmally like her stuff now im wondering is she a goss employee using an anonymous profile to just be a bully ?
We all know rosemary follows tgis threads and has seen how much we complain about non disclosure.
My take on the picture was that she was talking about mh and because she indorectly spoke about the collab she is doing felt it was right to use #ad. If she hadnt would peopke be givinh put even more accusing her of using the excuse of the post to indirectly advertise without using #ad

I don't even know what they're talking about in Dublin Girlo's comments anymore. Some people's comments are so embarrassing.

I always thought DublinGirlo was like a parody account like the Hope You're Ok Hun page.

Same! Wouldn't have expected that kind of post at all... either they have a serious issue with RMC or are connected to someone involved in the whole Goss.ies debacle.

Didn't she do something similar when Grace was in having her baby? Something about her snapping her whole labour? People were going mad in the comments

Oh I didn't see that :( Nasty, nasty... It isn't just a thing against one blogger so.

Bella Baby seem to be getting a lot of mentions in the whole "oh people asked me where this is from hang on I'll have to check".

Too many bloggers (and business owners ? ) have done that in the last few days about that one company , theres no way its a coincidence.

I noticed that myself this morning! Watched Pippa SC and then Ellen from waxperts both raving about this dinosaur backpack they got from Bella baby. What's the chances they both went and bought the same backpack...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 856 ✭✭✭idunno78

Did pippa not say she got it in easons? I was wondering when I saw both with the same bag would they be from the same place! Then when they were in different places assumed it was just a coincidence.

Would love to know when they say lots asked me about such and such is that true or are they just saying that to get a chance to promote a product!?

I'm nearly sure she said Bella baby, I could be wrong though.

I definitely think that's a way they drop product names out there without drawing attention to it. They both said the same thing on SC about loads of Moms asking them about the bag, seemed a little suss!

Wasn't her fella a delivery driver for fast food when they met? Maybe that's why, who knows

To be fair, I haven't seen the post from rmc that Dublin girlo is sniping at but if you overshare online then you have to deal with the consequences. How is what Dublin girlo done any different from Rosemary and her followers bitching on her Facebook about the posters on boards? You start to play that game you can't start crying about it being done on you. I don't agree with it but as adults everyone's responsible for what they put out on social media

People must get asked about some things on SC though as some of them get half annoyed about the repetition and reiterate quite firmly where they originally shared whatever information!

She said Easons first and then a follower corrected her

There's plenty more I'd trust myself ,but as she's part of the more well known bloggers I think she's the most honest

Bella Baby were everywhere last year when several bloggers had their babies. Constant mentions and pics and snaps posing under the store signs. Not one #ad in sight
I doubt they were being paid cash but you can bet they were getting stuff for little or nothing
