Take care of yourself. There is an awful dose going about. I have a headcold since before Christmas that recedes and comes back with vengeance.

Anyone hear any prices on land rent this year in the midlands, planning to finish this year, just wondering what I'm worth.
Very bad timing I know with prices, brexit ,etc etc
See the Journal are giving €250/acre, hope they're right

You're likely on better lad though.
Reliable client worth a bit less, as always.

Jeez rangler thought you'd be going for a few more years. Any plans for retirement. Unfortunately can't help you with your question. Best of luck with it

So did I, but 2016 was a bollocks of a year healthwise, I'm only after buying a tractor....what's the saying ''god laughs when man plans'' or something like that.
Carrying too much weight all my life telling the tale now.

Doing a Liverpool, that's what happened today. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Just have to drop the kids to mass and collect them after and I'm off to bed. The kids will feed the pet lambs, thankfully:)

Know a good few people who went over for the game today would be fairly fed up

Pedigrees are gone 18 mths at this stage, hope to sell 400 of the ewes in September, that plus selling 100 culls will leave us around 50 ewes.....we need something for 8 acres at the house.

While I'm sorry to hear that you feel that you need to cut back on the workload Rangler, I'm glad you have got your priorities right and are looking after yourself. Not everyone does unfortunately.

No, not planned, wouldn't have bought the tractor if I planned it,a lot of health problems in the last year, Just don't seem to have the strenght now to manhandle a ewe. When OH says we'll cut back, I say one ewe is too many, not fair on her doing all the work now so time to go.....it's all ahead of you whether it's 60,65,70 or 80,
Delighted to have a lovely Vet student for the peak of the lambing...she won't be idle

Less miserable today, thanks. Nearly over it but blood sugars still running too high so will have to stay up till they are under control. I might get to watch the American football at this rate, it's over around 4am
