Was at one of the kids games to day in an astroturf pitch-indoors- there was an american football team training before our game, great to watch them

Been to a couple of games in America, both NFL and college football. Its a showpiece for 8 or 10 hours. I love it

A mate of mine plays on one of the Irish American football teams, I went to watch them play a match once...the St. John's ambulance had to make 4 trips to the hospital

I had to drive myself to hospital 3 times last year after bangs at football training. We could do with a hiace!

My usual form was to traipse along to the hospital after I got the cows milked Monday morning. The walking/crawling wounded.

The play is secondary to the showpiece and beer

Small lady had her birthday party at a trampolining place in Limerick yesterday.
Place with indoor pitch and all that stuff.
Flock of women doing "rollerskating derby"
Weird looking sport. From what I could see a load of pushing and shoving on rollerskates.
Some of em were fine and strong too.
    Suppose it takes all kinds

Was home for the weekend, Spent the whole weekend doing improvements. Got all the dung spread too. Cousin bought a small spreader that fits on 3 point linkage. Fierce handy for both of us who only flute around with a few acres (at the moment ).

Would you load one of them with a 4ft grading bucket on digger turned around to standard position? Save the graip/fork work

Waiting to see how he gets on with the cow but he's just being called Mouse for the moment though seeing as the limo letter is M it might stick!

Carried him for 258 days, she would have just been nine months on the 6th of Feb. Queenshead Altea calf, sure maybe I can market him as short gestation for a Lim :D

Hmm, I might give her one try and if she holds first time she may stay. She's a great breeder and a super cow to work with but if the same thing happened again I'd be very annoyed. I guess i'll see how they take to each other, he's just not sucking yet but the way he's acting it's only a matter of time. But he has an annoying habit of running under the cow just when I get him to the teat, the little shít! :D

Had 'one of those days' today. Tractor died on me on the road while heading with a bale to the cows. Had to pester neighbours to get it home. Unidentified fuel problem as far as we can see. Think bottom of diesel tank may have dirt in it. Don't know where I'd be without good neighbours!

It's better to keep in with your neighbours than your family. Neighbours will always be around, family might not.
