    Leinster to win 1-5 @ 11/2
Nadolo first try scorer @ 10/1
Triggs first try scorer @ 55/1
    Montpellier +11 @10/11
    Montpellier to win @ 9/2

Quite happy to forgo those bets after that performance last night. One of the best leinster performances I've witnessed (similar to the bath 50 pointer a few years ago).

Need the other two bets to come in to break even

Had a fiver on Leinster to beat the pre-match handicap of -11

Followed that up with another fiver to beat the handicap of -49 with just over ten minutes to go.

    That's faith for you :)

Had wasps -10 in an accy, the divils. Leinster, conn, Munster and Northampton all made their handicaps.

Wasps funny alright never seem to win by much lately and bookies always give them very short odds.

Anybody have any picks for today Sunday? Harlequins left me down against Edinburgh in accumulator.

    exeter -4 @ 10/11

Saints had me sweating but racing didn't thank feck....

    Hopefully Exeter come good today

Hmm that's probably a few points too many for me. I'd want to make sure the forecast is good.

we will definitely be chasing the 5 pointer and i think the only way we wont make that spread is if we get 4 tries by 60 min and take the foot off.

realistically i can see us winning by possibly 20, forecast dependent as you say. though id fear the spread will travel out further before and after teams are named.

If Castres are trying -12 is a ridiculous handicap. You'd want to wait for the team news. I've been extremely impressed with Leinster and won't bet against them but trying to look at it objectively if Castres have a full team I'd go -7.

    Any picks for weekend?

scarlets away to sale @ scratch is a bit attractive to me currently.

Nothing at stake other than taking a scalp on english soil and i think they might be up for it.

Is wasps -49 against Zebre a good bet?

I agree, not just up for it but they've been really good in this competition too and Sale seem to have no interest. Saracens -8 looks good too, Toulon have been rubbish this year and Saracens will be chasing the bonus. If at full strength Leicester to win at 8/5 looks very good too, they've been a completely different team at home this competition and I wonder about Glasgow's bottle in these big European matches.

    too many unknowns for me.

they could easily put 70 points up on them, or they might be happy with the TBP wrap up and go home

connacht have much more to play for to get, at a min a LBP against toulouse... but toulouse have lots to play for by denying them
-12, even with their injuries, might be a bit long for connacht

Exeter Chiefs +15@10/11 (away to Clermont)
Wasps-49@10/11 (away to Zebre are tempting)
Exeter have been having a great run of form lately.Zebre seem to be collapsing on every front, judging by today's news.

John would you be up for posting what you bet on each week? You don't have to mention amounts, just maybe a list before the rugby starts.

montpellier gone from -18 to -23 after teams named

leinster steady at -12 but ive a feeling still might go further out.

so far then for the weekend
    scarlets (scr) @ 10/11
    leinster - 12 @ 10/11

and a double on scarlets and glasgow -4

and something small on sale scarlets draw @ 22/1

  • Subscribers Posts: 43,133 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

Leinster now gone out to -14

Also, ireland against Scotland is drifting out. I got ireland -5 a week ago and now -7.
If your confident get on it as it will probably finish up -10

    Basically means no handicap.

    They start at 0-0

Northampton+24? Views? They surely wouldn't be beaten by 25 would they?

It's that cap for a reason. Saints are sending the seconds and Montpellier are still in the hunt.

The majority of games this weekend are dead rubbers for at least one team. That's too much uncertainty for me.

    Again, very unknown.
They've nothing to play for and Monty know a five pointer and a decent points difference can give them a good chance of qualifying.

Thanks guys for your views.Exeter +16 seems tempting also, considering their form and that they have a lot to play for.
