    Barboza?

Barboza doesn't have the chin to last with Conor. However, it's a fight I'd love to see. Might get 2 of the best rounds we've ever seen.

I wasn't suggesting a scrap between them. It was a tongue in cheek reference to someone mentioning "the king of leg kicks" about someone other than Barboza.

    Ernesto Hoost?

    Anyway:
Key to beating Diaz is destroy that front leg, but if you give up height and reach advantages like Aldo, you better be quick to get in and out of striking range. Otherwise you're getting Stockton slapped.

Aldo did it to Faber, but I don't think he'd be quick enough to get in and out without getting tagged a few times by Diaz

I wasn't aware the UFC had signed him :)

Wasn't aware king of leg kicks only applied to the UFC :)

There are a few I can think of, as well as Barboza and Aldo.
    Cro Cop
    Overeem
    Rizzo
    Manhoef

    Nasty nasty leg kicks.

Barboza might have some good leg kicks. I honestly couldn'say, as all I think of when I hear his name is that spinning wheel kick. Epic

Enhanced by the timing of Rogan's "... risk getting knocked out!" For once, Rogan yelping away didn't annoy me.

Few interesting quotes from an interview with JK earlier today on Red FM:
"It was more the UFC [who made the decision].” said Kavanagh. “For me personally, I was very disappointed with how they went about doing it.”

“It was a very messy set of circumstances which led to doing it. They lost a main event (at UFC 206) and then they haphazardly threw together a new main event.”

“They felt they had to make this for a title in order for it to sell so they brought in another interim title that Jose Aldo already has and then bumped Jose Aldo up to the current undisputed champion. Which just seems ridiculous to me.”

“It’s only been 11 months since he won that title. There have been many, many examples of fighters waiting 15 months, 18 months before defending it. He’s 11 months and they stripped him of it.”

“I thought it was very shortsighted by the UFC how they went about doing it.”

On the possibility of a super fight with Mayweather:
"Is it getting any closer? I don’t know is the short answer. It certainly wouldn’t surprise me to hear that it’s going to happen.

    "I mean, for Mayweather, he’s 49-0, I’m sure he wants that 50th fight. It’s a nice number.

"Right now ask the average guy on the street, who do they want to see Mayweather fight, what fight is going to get the most amount of interest? And it would be a superfight with Conor.

"Stranger things have happened in combat sports than a Mayweather vs. Conor fight.

"I wouldn’t be surprised by it. Who knows? It’s one of the many options that are there for Conor so let’s see how the next couple of weeks go.

"If the odds were good enough (on it happening) I’d put a few quid on it for next year.”

If I was Conor I'd be waiting until my current UFC contract was up before fighting Mayweather so the UFC don't see a dime from it. He can always go back to the UFC after, probably with a stronger bargaining position. Floyd would be a couple of years older too.

Floyd will be into his 70's at the rate this is going and we will still be talking about it!

I'd giggle my ass off if Holloway/Pettis kicked the crap out of Aldo and he didn't ever get his second shot at McGregor.

Not because I'm a McGregor fan boy, but simply because Aldo is being such a spoilt brat.

nah i really want him to get his shot at mcgregor...cant wait to see what he has to say when lightning strikes twice :D

I think Aldo is still smarting from the fact that in Brazil a biopic about him was made and was supposed to be released with the backdrop of him having beaten McGregor, but instead they had to change the ending and release it to the back drop that he had just been beaten.

It is a bit of sickener in fairness :p

If you tuned into Diaz McGregor 2 you have no right to want him stripped or complain about him not defending it in them 11 months, it was the most watched MMA fight ever according to ppv numbers so the UFC will profit from that on one hand yet strip him on the other they cant have it both ways.

They've just had it both ways hahaha. Your argument only works if they were "thinking" of stripping him. They've already done it.

Well they wont have it anymore now that it looks like they've upset their number 1 draw, good luck getting him to come back and be the circus for them.
