Seems like a mortal kombat fight, god level ground vs god level TDD

Exactly I would love to see that fight, I love Conor but all the Aldo hate seems to be way to much on here, the guy is a crazy fighter. Aldo v Khabib would be such a cool fight :D

Aldo was announced as the Undisputed Champion at UFC 194 when McGregor was the Interim Champion though.
He also announced Conor as the Undisputed FW champ at UFC 205.
As mentioned above by John_D80 these were Buffer mistakes.

You are correct but I believe that was a mistake on buffers part or on the part of whoever wrote the card he reads from.
The cards were printed correctly, but Buffer added the undisputed part.

Alternatively can you imagine the 'hate' for McGregor if 6 of his 8 wins were by decision and his other getting ko'd in 13 secs.......would be far worse than what Aldo gets

My god is he insane, that is the most unprofessionally put together que card ever, I'm surprised he doesn't get more wrong, looks like my 2 year old niece edited it for him.

It's bizarre alright. I get enlarging the records, height and weight. But when you highlight everything, then nothing is highlighted.

Aldo was a little salty but surely you can understand that? Conor disrespected him for months all around the world and then knocked him out in 13 seconds :pac:

Aldo was always a great humble champion and had some amazing fights, I mean I am a Conor fan but I don't know the guy, I'm not going to hate Aldo just becasue he doesn't like Conor. If Conor fights Aldo I will be hoping Conor wins but I still have great time for Aldo as a fighter.

a little salty? i still respect aldos skill in the cage bigtime but thats the understatement of the century

A salt mine wouldn't be as salty as Aldo was after the fight (and still is)

I was cheering for Aldo against Frankie, I don't really care if he is salty towards Conor or not, Aldo seems like a nice guy and he was just insulted by Conor. I'd reckon if Aldo had of lost the belt to anyone but Conor he wouldn't have been so salty.

On another note, I hope Holloway is the next future Featherweight champion, I would love to see him v Conor again.

    Why hasn't Conor commented yet?

I suppose I get it, stay silent and let social media and opinion do their work. Let the UFC sweat it out. Still though...

    His silence is deafening.

    Maybe that's what he wants?

It's the smart move. If he posted an emotional reaction on Twitter it would undermine him a bit.

I think he's well aware the MMA-AA has just launched. If he made any contact with them I think he'd have the higher ups ****ting themselves.

Surely 2 (196+202) non 145 title fight for McGregor doing massive record breaking numbers gives all the signals the fans want to see these big fights, if them fights out of the divisions bombed the company wouldnt be enabling them any further ie let him fight at 155.

Ah come on that is a fallacy. People will watch Conor no matter what, I will watch Conor no matter who he fights but I would prefer to have seen him defend his belt rather than fighting Diaz twice.

The Cm Punk freakshow done 450k or something decent which is good in todays climate, hence why they are giving him another fight according to rumours, majority of people on here are purists and a lot cant put themselves in the mindset of casual sports fans who make up the ppv's, they want to see Conor too they dont care that hes not defending the belt they tune in for the spectacle same way they would tune in if GSP went up and fought an exhibition fight at middleweight,

202 was the fight in question, 203 was the freak show wrestler and 204 was Dan Henderson fighting for a title I mean come on join the dots here.

How much of 203 was down to CM PUNK and how much was down to the Heavyweight belt being on the line?

Probably 50/50, the majority of people buying them few ppv's like a story line not a champ fighting a no 1 contender imo, hence why they made them look at UFC 200 ffs Brock Lesnar another freak show massive ppv UFC keep wheeling them out the casuals lap them up.

Metlzer broke it down on his podcast. A good share at least were, considering how weak that card was overall. Stipe v Werdum at UFC 198 barely broke 300k and it was a stronger card.

    Whats he supposed to say?

So soon after proudly declaring the will need an army to come and take one of his belts and that he is not dropping either belt they went and did just that, without the army.

What can he say to that?

He will make a quip about it at one point or another, but yes his silence about it says alot. He is obviously seething over the decision, but I think he will handle it professionally and since he is taking time off there is no need to get involved right now.

Not like Mayweather would ever fight outside of Vegas.

Bit of an empty bluff by him. Or just to get some headlines.
