Awww will he have a little hissy fit??? Isn't that what Aldo is getting slated in here for???

What are you talking about? Conor hasn't even said anything. Look at how Conor handled his loss to Nate. Look how Aldo handled his to Conor. Tells you everything you need to know about who's throwing a hissy fit.

According to Gamebred (who my comment was aimed at) he's as well as retired hahaha

The first time ive ever had to use the ignore button, forgot boards had one,

The whole interim thing seems a quick fix that will leave a bigger leaking hole in the long run for the UFC not sure they thought this through although the UFC200 debacle worked well for them in the end with 202 happening.

I don't get why you keep posting in here if you don't like McGregor. I don't like Cricket. I don't go into the forum or the thread. Simple.

It's the "Conor McGregor" thread. Not the "Conor McGregor is great" thread. I have an opinion on him. I couldn't care less if 0, 1 or 10000 other posters agree with me. It's a discussion board last time I checked.

honest question, do you actually watch mma or do you just tune into mcgregor fights with the rosary beads going praying he loses? you've yet to make any contribution to this forum save for popping in once in a while to talk about how you don't like conor.

I do watch MMA, I don't believe in catholic fairytales, I've x amount of spare time. I spend some of it in here, some in After Hours and some in Soccer and occasionally dip into the politics Cafe. I don't have the time or the inclination to go into every card thread and chat, this is the busiest MMA thread on Boards. If you have any more questions, you can PM me as I don't want to drag the thread off course.

Jesus there's a terrifying prospect, the intelligentsia of the MMA forum coming after you. How will people get by?

In fairness, the post from gamebred that set you all off was daft. Giving out about McGregor holding up FW and watching the second fight with Diaz are in no way mutually exclusive.

I didn't mean it like that, What I'm saying is why someone comes onto a place where they know every post they make will get disagreed with baffles me. Maybe its just me though.

Aldo should be get the rematch - but without the big purse. If he wants the fight so much to get revenge then it shouldn't bother him.
We all know it's about the money though

Surely 2 (196+202) non 145 title fight for McGregor doing massive record breaking numbers gives all the signals the fans want to see these big fights, if them fights out of the divisions bombed the company wouldnt be enabling them any further ie let him fight at 155.

Theres about 1.5k watching the pettis/max media call right now; it hasnt started yet but the numbers are actually going down as I type this; the ppv numbers will be interesting. Also why do they keep refering to Aldo as the undisputed champion when theres an interim title?

    There's no interim champion.
    Aldo is undisputed, officially

But theres an interim title fight so id argue it is disputed; its fairly ridiculous. Interim titles are a pain in the hole. They should get crowns and be called king of the division.

if I ever start a promotion I'm stealing that idea :D

He undisputed for the next 11 days, I dont think Aldo plans on fighting any longer I think he'd be happy with 1 more win so and go out with the belt so he can tow the line he reclaimed his belt and left at the top his only ufc loss was an ''accident''.

Then just call what would be the Interim title the 'Prince of the Division' :D

The title doesn't exist until Max or Pettis are crowned interim champ.
At which point Aldo is no longer undisputed.

Same way that Aldo was undisputed FW champ up until UFC189. When Conor became interim.

Aldo was announced as the Undisputed Champion at UFC 194 when McGregor was the Interim Champion though.

You are correct but I believe that was a mistake on buffers part or on the part of whoever wrote the card he reads from.

I know this is a crazy idea but I would love to see Khabib v Aldo and winner fights Conor next for the lightweight title. That would be an absolute amazing match up and if marketed as the "next person to fight Conor" would sell ppvs with that title alone.

I hope Aldo doesn't get another shot. He's handled his loss embarrassingly and a match up between Khabib or Tony would be more marketable, intriguing and a more difficult test for Conor.
