Just watching the speech. It's a very good speech in fairness to Trump.

His poor son looks so incredibly uncomfortable though. It looks like he was told not too smile too much, and the kid looks terrified.

That link's dead... try this; skip on to 7:40.00

RTE is Democrat Central. You'll never hear a bad word about any Democratic candidate, and Hillary was no different this time around. No balance whatsoever. They seem to have this blinkered saccharine view of the Democrats. Tubs is probably the worst exponent. His sentimentality for the bullsh!ttery of the Kennedy Camelot era is nauseating.

Much as I dislike Trump* that video, especially from 2:50 on hits the nail on the head.

    * FWIW I would have voted for Jill Stein, the lesser of several evils.

That's from the very recently shot (I think they only finished it in mid-October) and screened doc that was on Channel 4 a couple of weeks ago. The whole thing made sense but that segment alone sums it up.

I'm going to the states before the end of the month, should be interesting so to speak......:eek:

Irish people ringing in scared of trump being president without being able to give a proper reason as to how it will affect them except that trumpy is a bit rude.

Pretty much all radio is the same today.. at least joe will give some balance.. :)

Not the only ones. On FiveLive earlier, presenter asked a yank pundit "Will you feel less safe as a woman living in America now that Trump is President?"

    My predictions for todays show:

1hr 15mins of clueless f**kwits scaremongering the nation into thinking the future of USA, Ireland and the whole world is doomed, as a result of last night's election result.

No doubt we'll hear from some Irish Mammy worried about her wee fella who's been in America illegally since 1988.

Exactly so. The end of the world is not nigh, the sky will not fall in, and the sun will rise tomorrow.
In short, business as usual, just another Yank President elected.
He's not the first asshole in the White House, and won't be the last.
