    With the retailer's getting no more stock and the NX imminent, 2017 will feature prices set by the retailers rather than Nintendo, they'll try to shift the remaining stock while they can, because with the NX they'll never sell a WiiU again.
    So, the base price will be whatever they get the WiiU from their suppliers are and expect them to try to make only a few euro on that, just to get shot of them.
    Of course, this'll be great news for us!

    I do expect every big seller on the WiiU to make its inevitable way to the NX, as a remaster. The phenomenon is common on the other current machines, so it's to be expected.

    A new week a new hope, I wish, after being completely over top obsessed for a reveal last 3 weeks, Im finally broken and given up, which must mean likely be revealed now that I given in :)

    Been trying think we so obsessed with the wait, as at end of the day ive loads in my WiiU backlog to get through.

    I think its not really the need to finally have the NX in my hands, heck id wait beyond March if I had too, its more once we see it, we will finally know the 5 year plan for NX, thats what is more important to me. Finally know if NX can compete and have great games over next 5 years.

    Merging 3DS+WiiU install base I think will be the winner here, 10mil a year sales = 3rd party support plain and simple.

    My one big hope is the NX Dock also contains more than simple dock, that upscales and runs 1080P and improved graphics etc... That why non handheld lovers still have a console and more portable that wii U around the house :)

    Being very lazy here and not googling this but when is the release date?

    I've been PS4'ing of late with the new Destiny DLC so I've kinda lost track of all things Nintendo if I'm honest.

    Edit .. Forget that. I scrolled back a page and ye are talking about March 2017 as a likely date so I'll grab one for Christmas 2017. Love me a Nintendo Christmas and am in not rush due to backlogs and Destiny... God damn you Destiny!!

    NINTENDO REALLY DOESN'T WANT ANYONE EVEN MENTIONING NX

    We know that Nintendo has remained extremely tight-lipped about the NX, but this next bit of info is a bit too far. Take a look at this snippet from a GameSkinny interview with a Nintendo of Canada rep.

    Absolutely nothing about the NX is said there, as far as actual platform details go. Completely innocuous, don't you think? Apparently Nintendo of Canada didn't think so, as this is how the interview reads now.

    Why did that blurb that offered absolutely no info have to be removed? Nintendo always plays cards close to their chest, but this time around there was literally nothing to be gleaned from that interview snippet! Man, I wonder how hard Nintendo came down on Ubisoft for what they've been saying in interviews!

    And now a recent picture posted by Michael Ancel hinting at Beyond Good & Evil 2 is making people assume a reveal as NX exclusive is imminent. :)

    Latest IGN Nintendo Voice Chat had a bit about what the name for the NX will be.

    They all seemed to think that simply calling it "Nintendo" would be the best idea. I'd tend to agree that it would be a great name for the console.

    Nintendo Go made more sense to me. No-one predicted Wii or Wii U and I bet this will be something nonsensical too

    Ya, I heard that and thought it was a terrible idea. It would cause confusion. I think it could be called Nintendo Go. Or I was thinking GameLEON(Lifes Entertainment On Nintendo). Pronounced like chameleon because of its changing form. I Googled it and found a site already for "The online networking hub for members of the videogame industry´s press corps."

    Considering it's Nintendo we're talking about and as it's supposed to be like a portable wii it'll probably be called a Pii, or a Pii-U :D
