    They have to be given so much time to get out to the course and get set, so with the deadline approaching they had to launch them on the nano-chance of wind coming in.

    I'd say no-one is very optimistic at all.

    Hah, the wind has done almost a full 180 shift!!

    Hope it settles - that's the last bit of the jigsaw for the race committee.

    Unlikely, seems to be frontal wind rather than sea breeze, which was forecast - so should persist.
