Yeah, I've been giving it a go for a few days. It's not the worst game in the world. A lot of focus on buying packs/collecting car parts. Auto accelerate too, you just steer and use weapons. You never have to spend a penny, but every small featute has a micro-transaction.

The famicom and atari controller are my faves from that art style. Love the texture grain on the atari and the gold shine effect on the famicom controller.

Even the soundtrack, a thing much derided in the nu movie, the GB2 one is pure excrement, and I owned it on vinyl back in the day!

It was that awkward phase when the 80s was on the way out and the 90s was on the way in and they hadn't a clue what 90s music should sound like yet.

Repton is a computer game originally developed by 15-year-old Briton Tim Tyler for the BBC Micro and Acorn Electron and released by Superior Software in 1985.

Boulder Dash (バルダーダッシュ Barudā Dasshu?), is a video game released in 1984 by First Star Software

I think you may be confusing the 1983 Repton which is not really repton as it is a shoot em up style game

    http://www.jeffbots.com/c64/repton.html

1985 game is a rip (ish) off of Boulder Dash

( just noticed someone edited the wiki pages today)

I'm sure whoever did the edit is smart enough to know about IP address logging and such things, and took the proper precautions ;)

I think at this point that wiki needs a sub heading dedicated to Sparks.

What kind of money is the PS4K supposed to be going for?

Circa €450, plus circa €400 for PSVR. So the guts of 1k on a console. Madness really. I'll build a very capable gaming pc for a few quid more, & throw an oculus at it next year maybe

I think for VR, PC is the only way to go really. I'm incredibly interested in seeing what Sony add to the market, but the scope of VR is so huge that being able to mod things/try out interesting bits people put up online has so much more potential than console VR.

Saying that, I still don't have a ps4 and am waiting for the new version to come out before I get one - although that's mainly for The Last Guardian tbh! :D

Yeah, especially with all the new decent graphics cards popping up lately at close to budget prices from AMD and Nvidia that will run the Oculus pretty well.

This man, he speaks the truth.

It's all the little demos and VR experiences you can download that make VR good on the PC. Although I've lost interest in it recently and am more looking forward to AR the VR.
