You can't give up though, it's not allowed.
Would be a tough job all the same. I wouldn't be able for it. I'd probably delete the Cork thread since ttm left.
If it wasn't for Jayop I'd delete the Tyrone tread too.
I'd split the kilkenny thread in three.
Merge the Roscommon and Mayo thread.
I'd make bits of the place.

    Genius !!!

I'd merge the Donegal and Throne threads too, purely for the entertainment value. There'd be carnage. :D

I never got to the bottom of TTM's departure - but yeah it's awful quiet over there. He was an encyclopedia on all matters Cork GAA, must've attended everything from secondary school to the Inter County team games. With all that knowledge he was waaaay ... kin off on Ger Cunninghams appointment being good for Dublin :D It might be the shame that drove him away .. a proper character nonetheless

LMAO @ merging Roscommon & Mayo thread, there'd be more bush fires than an Australian outback

That sounds better. I understand that the male of the pair goes first.
So if it was a between a cat and a donkey and the cat was a male it would be a Conkey

They'll never agree on a name, it's just a bad idea, I'm sorry I brought it up!

    Oh boom. Shots fired.

The thread would need its own mod. From Ballaghadereen. Dubs will have no idea why that is important, but the Moscommonites will. I had the Ballagh turf war politics explained to me by my Boyle inlaw outlaws, after the league game in Carrick. I lost the will to live 5 times and, had to be resuscitated with a defibrillator, a Mossy Ferguson & a few pieces of Wavin piping that were laying around. However, no one can say that this Dub doesn't know what's going on whest of the Red Cow !

Our Ford cortina blew the head gasket in Boyle in 1986 on the way to Donegal.
Mechanic fixed it on the same day, saved 8 stoners and a collies holiday.
    Haven't been back since though.

The Local Government Act of 1898 has a lot to answer for.

The Brailians are Wicklovian as a result of it as well. Good riddance mind.

Not the proudest moment for sure -what do you want us to say ? The other 50,000 Dubs didn't resort to the actions of a few dickheads .. We're not doing sackcloth and ashes about it tho...

Reminds me of young lads on the hill singing

Tommy Lyons, Tommy sweet Tommy Lyons

To the tune of Fleetwood Mac's Tell Me Lies

By how much will Dublin beat West Meath?Genuine question.Last year it was by 11 points.Half tempted to throw some money on the Dubs with a handicap. Thanks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

Bookies have the handicap at 15 points. I think it could be 20, but it depends how hard we want to hit them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

No James McC tomorrow, you'd have to assume he's taken a knock or has a wee injury. Anyone heard anything?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,814 ✭✭✭✭keane2097

They said dropped on the radio, I don't think they normally say it as baldly as that without knowing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,775 ✭✭✭✭Slattsy

Reached out to one of the brethern down in BK and he's none the wiser either. Gavin has been a big admirer of Lowndes thru the different set ups but not at the expense of Mac
