Plenty of info out there if you look.

Apparently upwards of 100k converts in the last couple of years in Iraqi Kurdistan alone.

It also has the ten commandments from the old testament. Moses is still a prophet in Islam. Thou shalt not kill is still in there. Merely that the ISIS wackjobs dexcited not to care about that part. Many Muslims do care about it. Religious books have enough contradictory guidance that you can take what you want from any of them.

Obama needs to declare war on ISIS .
An official declaration of war . You attack one NATO country ,you attacked them all.
Why is the world so afraid of fighting ISIS?
We poke them with a long stick and run away..

The bible promoted mass murder, slavery and so on.

Like I said, it's not hard to understand where the radicalisation but comes from. You'd have to look into it though rather than going with the most simplistic sensationalist rationale.

Well, the mass importation scheme is questioned.... but it isn't being halted.

People will defend the policies of their presidents Tusk & Junker to the hilt.

Actually lot of Kurds are abandoning Islam altogether and going back to Zoroastrianism. Basically the Kurds adopted Islam in the first place because they didn't want to be murdered and raped into extinction.

And in any case the Kurds mainly follow a different branch of Islam to that propogated by extremists much of it through Saudi funding.

In a world without borders the days where the west could fcuk up a region and not worry about it are over.

I've no idea how to deal with radical Islam. I think it's going to take a lot of time.

But people here need to cop on and realise that this is not about Islam.

If the world had treated South America in the same manner for the last 100 years, it's guaranteed we'd all be talking about radical Catholicism.

It's not even that hard to understand.

Islam has no one main leader which is a problem for the religion. Instead you have nations like Saudi Arabia who support an extreme version of Islam.

You would not get radical Catholicism given the structure of the church. Then most western nations and the Holy See have close relations for many centuries. The Holy See also have very good relations with nations like Iran which may seem odd.
As a political entity, the Holy See is a success for promoting peace, and did warn both Bush and Blair about invading Iraq.

Ever read the Bible? Funnily enough it says the same things - it also says that slavery is okay, that it's alright to murder anyone that has an affair and that anyone who dishonours their parents should be killed.

Not to mention those who work on the Sabbath, President Bartlett had a great monologue regarding Biblical passages.

Maybe they're finally copping on to the results of nurturing a state of almost perpetual war in the Middle East. ISIS must be defeated but more Western soldiers in the Middle East will ensure the problem perpetuates.

We would not tolerate Russia dropping a bomb on Nice and killing 100's, but ISIS can do it over and over and over and over and we tolerate. We don't want to upset them.

Yeah it's just a tiny, tiny, tiny minority. 99.9% of Muslims believe in equality and gay rights.

Ever been to America? Russia? Any of the heavily Christian countries in Africa, South America etc

These places would certainly have more the 0.1% of their population who don't believe in equality or gay rights.

Again, it's not hard to understand.

If there had never been any occupation or oil in the Middle East, none of this would be happening.

Is that bit easy enough to get?

"If you're gonna defend your religion by saying Islam is a religion of peace, and the Islamic State has nothing to do with Islam, you're being intellectually dishonest, and that kind of denial of obvious reality is irresponsible and dangerous." - Sam Harris at 14:38 of the interview below with Dave Rubin:

For anyone who thinks ISIS members are Muslims :

ISIS bombed many countries including Muslim countries during the holy month of Ramadan. If you still think ISIS are Muslims you need to delete your life.

We don't tolerate it, on Wednesday, the nations fighting ISIS killed the top ISIS guy for war, and over the last number of months have reduced the area they control by 12%.

ISIS didn't do it over and over and over

Also, are you aware that ISIS are being fought, by people, like, real combat and being pushed back and defeated, little by little?

Do you know this is happening or do you think nothing is being done to stop them, by people a little too busy actually fighting then repeating ****e they read on the internet?

What a stupid ****in comment. Who is tolerating it ? There is mass condemnation and absorbance at this attack. Just because people are not calling to nuke all muslims.. you need to have a word with yourself... seriously.

They have strongholds . We drop a few bombs on their houses.
We need to flatten a city with an atomic bomb. No need to pinpoint.
They kill everyone, we need not worry about innocent people. If you're there you're not innocent.

Surely this would indicate that following a religious book with these things written in them isn't the issue? I mean we have millions across Europe who profess faith in the old testament through the various Abrahamic in religions. The vast majority ignore the weird bits and get on with life so the book isn't the issue. The issue is the messed up people who think that driving a truck into a crowd of people isn't horrific.
