On a different note, The Bull is holidaying in Ballyheigue this week....I have visions of him trying to turn around in a 2 berth caravan and knocking the whole thing over :):D

Is there a big mart or agricultural show on? ;)

Started watching some new American show called Braindead last night. It's kind of a modern day Invasion of the Body Snatchers, set in Washington with the current political s**tstorm as the backdrop and with a bit of a sense of humour about it all. Fairly enjoyable stuff as it happens.

You lads seem to know your way around Dublin. I'm meeting some friends in town on Friday morning before Longitude, are there any nice spots to get breakfast? Preferably not too pricey.

What kind of breakfast? Greasy spoon fry up or fancy notions breakfast? And what part of Dublin?

If it's Parnell Street area, try the Kingfisher, great grub and not too pricey

Metro Café's breakfast Blah is great.

Not too pricey and just off Grafton street!

Whereabouts? I would recommend Ranelagh; Hobarts for a dirty fry or Cinnamon for something a bit more up market (eggs benedict is amazing). You could get the luas up to Dundrum and walk/taxi to Marley Park from there.

Tried out Pokémon Go today. Found a gym. In a kindergarten. Luckily it's the school holidays, eh?

Nintendo share price up 50% since launch of Pokemon Go. Unbelievable

And they have just announced the Nintendo Mini...

    https://twitter.com/NintendoUK/status/753559847451451396

Some week for them. That will be a licence to print money, coming in at around €50 every man in their late 20's and 30's will be getting one for Christmas.

Get a raspberry pi and use this and don't limit yourself to just NHS games https://retropie.org.uk

But yeah I had the same reaction as you

Isn't it amazing how they make their old consoles redundant by bringing out new shiny ones and people throw money at them. Few years later they recycle the original ones that you threw away and people throw money at them again.

That is what everyone is saying but many people don't want to or are unable to mess with a pi to get it up and running.

Also the nostalgia hit is worth the €50 or so it will cost I reckon.

Ah yeah I def agree. I've been meaning to do the pi thing for ages, I easily have the skills to do it, but have never gotten around to it. I'd be very tempted by this though

    Ahhhh missed this.

There is only one place in dublin for the breakfast and that is Gerrys on Montague Street.

Whopper fry for 6 or 7 quid and they will keep topping up your coffee and toast until you burst!!

If any of you are about town you really need to try this place.

So...Russian athlete Darya Klishina has been allowed to compete at the Olympic games as a "neutral".

I guess I'll be forced to watch the women's high-jump so. Just to make sure, you know, that there is no sign of cheating. Can't think of any other reasons to watch...

I'm not really sure what you are supposed to do with instagram.

Do you put up pictures with the aim of gaining as many likes as you can?

It's an online game where you go out to catch as many likes as possible. It's actually quite good despite it's dorky appearance, because it encourages people to go out and travel and actually puts emphasis on places of high interest or beauty.
