There a gun club.... Not a militia according to there name.....

Well they don't seem to have an issue with the naming, from the about page
We believe we can end police brutality in our community by organizing Black self-defense groups (Black People’s Militias/Gun Clubs) that are dedicated to defending our Black Community from racist, fascist, police/ military oppression and brutality. The Second Amendment of America’s Constitution gives a right to bear arms. We therefore believe that all Black People should unite and form and “African United Front” and arm ourselves for self-defense and survival.

One of the officers murdered only got married in the past two weeks to a fellow officer, fed up of all this needless death.

God help the blacks now after this shootout, as if they weren't been treated bad enough

As someone said earlier Fooking Hell.

You have cops now so jumpy that they pump four bullets into a guy in a car with a woman and a kid because they fear him so much.
Then you have nutjobs blasting cops away at protest rallies.

Maybe it's because they are all seen as anti black,
maybe it's because they aren't anti black enough,
maybe it's because they actually represent the institutions of the state,
maybe it because they are seen to protect gays/lesbians/abortion clinics,
maybe it's because they aren't religious enough,
maybe it's because they are the wrong religion,
maybe it's because they are American,
maybe it's because they are not American enough.
or maybe it's just some bored kids who figured today's lesson was going to be how to die.

No matter what way you swing it, it is one fooked up situation.

When are people in the US going to wake up.
Ah but shure after this they will just go out and buy even more weapons just in case some nutjob decides to start shooting at them.

And all a lot of them have to do is look in the mirror to find the closest nutjob.

I am not allowed discuss …

Weird. You'd think they'd spread their alleged hate agenda around a bit more evenly amoungst all the groups they allegedly hate.

America and it's ridiculous greed filled policies both at home and abroad are causing a lot of needless death in my opinion. Arms industry obviously had major political influence over there. As long as there is easy access to guns I can only see this getting worse. Wonder what the NRA's response to this will be?

Ah, ****ty reporting from Radio 1 then. They had that speech as his response to the shootings of the cops.

Still doesn't change the fact that he is a crap president. Also, these shootings are pushing Trump closer to the White House.

How is that him pushing ? All he says he loves cops, then compares eu to terrorist cells ,when idiots in US kill at least dozen people on daily basis, his agenda is to push for more guns and power to enforcement not to mention his racial views - its disaster to happen at very least , every time he opens his mouth.

was it in uk few years back after black guy was killed and parts of london were burning when riots started, think you can multiply by 1000 in US if he gets near the office.

Now saying Obama was weak giving speech,is plain stupid - his response was reasonable, some other idiot would jump the trigger causing such mass occurrences in minutes.

Now i dont condone such actions against law enforcement and its tragic, but from daily media its clear many state enforcement are out of control, people getting killed for most minor things, now some here complain how garda can be bad sometimes,if living in states youd do bricks every time youd see a cop.

Theres deep issues in US concerning law and authorities, and people pushing further such agendas and 0 control on guns and authorities, its matter of time before all the scaremongering and daily clashes will be what we see.

Some of them no doubt are, just as some of the white people that have been shot have also probably been innocent.

It's a dangerous line to assume that all the dead were guilty of something. Just as it's dangerous to assume that all the dead were innocently walking down the street.

Exactly. You reap what you sow.

I would not like to be one of the suspects in custody.
Brown said police believed the four suspects had worked together to launch the attack, but he did not speculate on a motive for the shootings. He said the people in custody were not cooperating. “We are waiting for the suspects to break,” he said.

This is the beginning of summer of organised violence. The Black Lives Matter group is being used to usurp democracy in the US with the aim of martial law being declared and Trump being blamed for inciting racism. They will force Trump to be dropped as a presidential candidate and ensure Hillary Clinton gets the job.

Watch the Republican National Convention coming up in Cleveland and see the "peaceful protests" that get out of hand and turn quickly to violence. This is insidious and tyrannical, Black Lives Matter indeed.

Have to agree. Unfortunately the media like to whip this up more. Once you excuse political violence as in its OK to assault people attending a Trump event, then its not too far more to shot police officers because the media have fanned the flames even more.

All this Black lives matter is just racists divisive nonsense. All lives matter and people should be be trying to stir up and agitate hate because of grievances real or imagined. There will always be idiots but we have to call out the idiots on both sides and not be called racist because hard truths hurt. There are plenty of white racists and there are just as many black racists to match.

He has been an abysmal President. Here's a bullet point for you, after eight years of Obama in charge, race relations in the US are at an all time low. It's the one subject that you could argue he election was specifically intended to address and he dodged it at every turn. Shameful man.
    What a useless comment.

That is absolutely crazy stuff! America seems like a really unstable place at the moment.

Maybe we should invade it to help liberate the American people?

And then loot any oil we find there.

Think there's a lot of parallels between what happened here an the unrest in Northern Ireland in the 70s and 80s. You have an entire sector of society that feels they are being targeted and victimised by an armed government force. The only surprise is that, with all the easy access to guns, it hasn't happened sooner.

I wonder could you draw parallels between BLM and Sinn Féin to a certain extent?

Probably too soon but both were formed out of similar concerns. Where Black Lives Matters goes from here is what will decide things and there's no evidence that they are involved in the murders.

Yes, America has pretty much destroyed them.
