Actually use it as a part of dbt skills since it's something that's a constant in my life, no matter what state i may be in.. I was embarrassed at first but it works a good bit of the time..

That sounds like a really good idea actually! :)

I STILL haven't dusted off my DBT workbooks! :o

Yeah i started with too much ambition initially so didn't set realistic methods for the skills. Reigned it in a bit to stuff i actually do, now it's a bit better, not a miracle of course but more manageable anywya most of the time.. Just running very flat at the moment..

Of course, even when i'm feeling a bit silent it can help, it's just so hard to know what will suit from time to time.. Fair play to friends/family/partners who cope with this.. Tea? Strong with milk please :p

I've just ordered some pizza. Would anyone like a slice or two?

Hmm, we'll need to discuss toppings of course but i'll allow it :p

We can discuss pizza toppings in general, but the ones on this pizza aren't up for discussion! :p :pac:

I feel ashamed of my assertiveness now though! :o:pac:

Ah the usual Sunday night blues here. Otherwise, I'm swaying between happy and meh. I can't really complain though.

Has the tae cheered either of ye up? I hope it has. x

Kinda yeah. :) That and a pizza discussion.

Up early for college but will probably go doctor for a chat tomorrow first to discuss maybe starting back on meds, unstable at the minute.

    Nice one Hugo :)

Have to say i'm not shaking out of this downer at all. Right now i've a combination of shame and anger, earlier i came damn close to running away because i got into a panic. On the plus, i managed to cope and not run away, i'm trying to make the pros count.

In a similar position Gremlin, feeling of negativity, stress, self doubt but most of all sadness.

I'm off meds for a few months now but was not a good idea I feel.

Nice one Hugo, pass over a slice of that delicious pizza :) I'm gonna have one last cuppa before the night is out too.

Good job on standing you ground there. That urge has stricken us all here at times, and sadly we all have run at one point or another. It's good to hear of people facing it head on and winning. Hopefully that strength will be contagious.

Alanzo, you're doing exactly the right thing by going to see your doc, well done, i spent over a decade running away from all that :o

Hugo, i have a mad stubborn streak and i'm trying to turn it around to do better things, well i hope..

You've been dealing with issues a long time Grem haven't you?

Did you ever consider trying to reset your treatment, nothing dramatic, just approaching it from "if today was the first time I was getting treatment for this, where would I go" kind of thing. It might turn up something new or confirm you're on the best possible path.

Been very down today, really missing my nana, and recently a "friend" brought up something that should have been left in the past and then tell me some things trying to upset/hurt me and that has contributed majorly to bringing my mood down. F*** sake.

Why can't people just leave things in the past.:(

Can something just go right for me for once. Please. :(

Hugs Boxers, some people can't leave the past alone, i ruminate a lot so i do that a lot. I hope you sleep later and recover a bit.

Tell me how - yeah a long time on the road, i have switched things a few times with my psych team, i can tell you i have improved quite a lot i just still have these times too.

I fear us depressed types can be stubborn, but so is everyone else. By that reasoning, we're no worse in that regard that the so called "normal" people.

That's a great way to look at it, Telly. Hell, that could be a good approach for us all in general. :)

    Sorry to hear that, Boxers.

That friend sounds like a bad apple. Jesus, what do people be thinking?!

I was saving the last slice of pizza for myself, but I think you deserve it. x
